Milo’s career took a nosedive when he was kicked off breitbart after the pedo shit. His career was doing just fine after leaving twitter, in fact the ban gave him a huge boost with his followers and people like them that hate the liberal biases in the media and social media. I feel like it's less that Audi makes unreliable cars in general and more a function of John buying a 20 year old Audi that never was an example of Audi's best work. Top that that off with the thing being poorly maintained. By the look of it when he got it, I wouldn't be surprised if he bought it on a salvage title. Then there is the impact of having an unskilled person trying to do work on it: fucking around with the electrical system, tearing apart the interior and then tying to paint it in their yard with spray paint from cans. I can see how someone might be left with dissatisfaction, but pinning it on Audi is probably misplaced blame.
The TT is almost an allegory for John himself. You have this car which mechanically and stylistically speaking has it's best days behind it. Even when it was new it was ridiculed for being under powered and more style than substance. You try to to soup it up with new parts (in John's case by removing parts) and tell everyone who is willing to listen that its not a piece of shit lemon and is really a "vintage sports car". People politely nod and say, wow nice ride you are so good with cars, your hobbies are soooo interesting. But meanwhile are all thinking "Jesus, just lease a fucking brand new VW like most other gay dudes" since everyone really knows its just a worthless, ratty ol' junker with an after market CarPlay enabled infotainment system that isn't quite "fully functional" because of a tragically incompatible wiring harness.

For those of you who don't really pay attention, Stephen Lynch has been drastically increasing his national profile lately. I'm something of a news junkie, but I have never ever seen this guy on TV up until about two weeks ago. Since then, he's been on cable news at least twice, and Bill Maher even discussed him briefly and played a clip from him (couldn't find the video, but here's the transcript):
Regardless of what you think about Trump, Lynch has come out of nowhere to be mentioned all of the place lately. A lot of this is due to him being upset about trade tariffs that will hurt his district, but the ultimate point is, I'm starting to hear his name all over the place. In contrast, you know where I hear Brianna Wu's name? This thread, and that's about it.
