I've chatted with Kern over the intertubes, and I know I'm biased, but damn, he's trying to HELP THE DEMOCRATS WIN here, are idiots like this so ideologically blind they'd march to their death to spite the guy trying to save their lives just because he supported something they don't like?

Telling these people they'll win your vote if they talk to you like rational beings is like telling a kid you'll only give them an ice cream cone if they'll stop throwing a tantrum. They'll stomp their feet and scream louder because they still don't have the ice cream, they'll finally stop when the ice cream has melted away, and then they'll try to save face by saying they never wanted it to begin with.

the reason Lynch doesn't mention Wu is simple, it's not worth his time. She is such a nothing person that him mentioning her would only raise her nearly non-existent public profile. Contrary to Wu's demented beliefs, having a bunch of limp dick cucks following you on twitter doesn't mean anything.

Well, that and acknowledging Wu draws attention to them. Lynch gets a lot of mileage out of a majority of his voterbase not having any idea that Wu even exists.

Wow, it's easy to get behind on this thread. I have to wonder if Wu actually keeps buying these cars without having them competently inspected. It's not exactly like buying the newest i-gadget online, but I kinda suspect Wu treats it that way.

It's like saying "we should ban high performance vehicles to reduce traffic deaths" without defining anything. Meaningless statements. Wu probably wants to get behind the sort of 'assault weapon' ban that is in some American states, but the funny thing is that such bans never work because you can't ban something you can't define. So instead you get law that people go around by making their gun look weird, but not really less deadly.

My favorite part of this is that people specifically buy insurance to cover them if they get hit by an uninsured driver, that's how normal of a problem it is. So under Wu's regime, would we all have to buy insurance to cover us just in case we get shot by someone who didn't pay their premium?

I'd quip that maybe we should charge people poll taxes again to weed out poor (stupid) people from voting but Wu would probably be all for it.
