A sincere question- why do people believe John had SRS? I'm not asking for photographic evidence or whatever but if they have such a history of lying, is there some particular reason to believe John went through with it?

The thought of it makes me nauseous, so I don't want to delve too far into the details, but this has puzzled me for a long time. Why people so readily believe he went through with the procedure, instead of just trooning out and claiming he's a full on woman?

Also, feel free to run your own background check (there are several websites) against Brianna Wu and you'll see association with John Flynt and the name change. It's not a question or a theory, it's hard documented fact.

EDIT: Rereading your question, I see you weren't asking quite what I was answering. You were specifically asking if she is lying about having SRS or not.

Because his weird face bears a lot of marks indicative of cosmetic surgery, and it's not at all a stretch to assume he had the full deal.
This being tied in with his surgery to correct what he calls a "urinary tract birth defect" makes it pretty obvious.
