I don't think women politicians, in general, have a problem with authenticity and credibility. However, if you are someone who's entire life is based upon an unfathomably deep, yet incredibly inconsistent, web of deception weaved over several decades, with mountains of publicly available evidence underscoring said deception, I could see how people might doubt your authenticity.
 
Johnny copied all the stereotypes of politicians, the two-faced nature, the corruption, all that, without actually bothering to be elected as politician first. It's like he decided that's how politicians function, so if he wanted to be a politician, he needed to copy that.

Too bad for Mr(s). Flynt, since he clearly has the income and notability to get elected, he just blows it all on pay-to-win games and Porsches and expects a pothead to grab him the signatures he needs to even appear on the ballot, much less defeat an entrenched incumbent.

He was gloating over having to disinfect his hands all the time after meeting "the people", before there was evidence of him even leaving the house. So yeah, he's just aping the superficial behavior of a campaigning politician/celebrity.

That's part of it, but I think it's more that Wu can't keep all the details straight with his lies. John is an idiot who has essentially decided to rewrite his entire life as some bizarre, self-masturbatory fanfiction for his OC Brianna. He can keep the big picture stuff together (mostly, his Wikipedia article however shows that he's falling apart there too) but he keeps fucking up the actual details because he either can't remember what he last said or he's actively revising his "canon" for something that's more appealing to him at the moment.

What the fuck OOP language did you expect to be taught in 1994? Smalltalk? C++ hadn't even decided if the new operator threw an exception or returned NULL by default on failure in 1994. Java didn't even fucking exist. Pascal is a perfectly serviceable language that's basically functionally identical to ANSI C and was much more accessible to the student back then. I learned Object Pascal in school, it was basically the default teaching language up until like 2002 when Java was at the height of its fashionable period.

Just another example of Wu faking up her engineering background. It's astonishing that she acknowledges another person who knew her back in the John Flynt days though. I would have thought anyone who knew John back then would be thoroughly disavowed.

Wouldn't that piss Microsoft off? A legal kiwi like @AnOminous could probably clear this up, but while I know parody is an accepted legal defense, can't politicians get in trouble for ripping off trademarks, even for parody reasons?

Brianna did a hell of a lot more with Star Wars and never got a C&D from the Mouse over it, so I guess being a never-was tranny has some advantages.
