If I remember rightly, it's mandatory to have at least a 10% margin before they'll validate your signatures. More is strongly encouraged. So basically every signature they've collected so far is just their error buffer, they still need 2000 more.

Hard deadline is May 8th. Reading between the lines, I think the professional campaigns aim to have them submitted by the middle of April to give room to contest challenges and collect more signatures if required. It's not a thing you probably want to leave until the very last minute.

So between this (which we know she’ll buy), her Peloton bike gathering dust, car payments and her scampaign office she’s likely spending over $2000/month of Frank’s money now.

According to that one interview with the woman reporter last year, John Flynt needs to use Uber because he has trouble remembering where he parks his own car.

There is literally a app for that.

And Android does that for free (not sure about iPhones). Ok, Wu would need to live with Google tracking her movement, then again, commuting back and fort from the Xbone to the fridge/toilet, doesn't make much of a movement profile.

Does Brianna not outline these speeches before she gives them? I wonder if she's just doing them completely off the cuff, because I struggle to identify what the main message she's trying to communicate is.

If there's any points she's trying to emphasise, I guess they are:

  1. "I worked for Hilary."
  2. "I'm a software engineer, and I've been mistreated because of that fact."
  3. "The alt-right is a thing, I'm against them."
  4. "I grew up poor." (LOL)
They're all "I am" statements, at no point does she really get in to "I will" territory.
What is it about this message that's supposed to make people vote for her?

It really is just a straight-up lie. They didn't develop the engine, or "engineer" any aspect of the game. Modeling, animating, and linking scripts in Unreal is not "software engineering."

Also: "In 2014 the technology industry was really falling apart..."

John apparently is reluctant to say he "worked" in vidya. Wtf is the "technology industry?"

In 2014, Intel's stock price rose %50, PS4 was breaking PS2 sales records, Oculus was taking off, a literal hoverboard was released, Lockheed Martin made advances in compact nuclear fusion, the Human Brain Project released a map of the brain with a resolution surpassing previous maps by a factor of 50, India put a satellite around Mars, CERN was making strides in understanding the Higgs Boson, and fucking BOSTON Dynamics debuted their Atlas and WildCat robots.

The only part of the "technology industry" that was falling apart was the Virgin Galactic VSS Enterprise.

It's also a lie in that GSK had been functionally dead for almost a year prior to the election and not based in a real office for longer.
