Except in this case, it isn't how a flux capacitor works. John is claiming typing a fucking comma between fields to separate them is somehow an amazing technical feat.

Meanwhile, every other candidate in this race is managing to do it on time without bullshit excuses. Including the non "engineers."
 
It looks like something has updated on the FEC site. The EOY filing is not up but the summary has changed to show the numbers through the end of the year. Maybe the actual filing takes a bit to process.

In any case, it shows that 4Q receipts were up at $9820. But disbursements were way up too at $13,544.

The campaign now has a grand total of $453 on hand :story:

I can't wait to see what they spent all that money on.

But even doing it "manually" in the dumbest imaginable way, it would still just be putting commas between things, and maybe adding quotes if for some reason field data contains commas itself.

He's not doing it manually though. He probably thinks CSV is some proprietary file format, doesn't know if he has anything capable of reading it, so he thought he'd tweet about it with some words he's heard people use adjacent to sentences where they've said "file format" in the hope that someone will tweet him a reply that illuminates things for him, so that he doesn't have to embarrass himself asking for help. The additional upside is he can screech MANSPLAINER! at whoever does unwittingly help him, which we know he gets off on.

Those nutters actually filed on paper probably because they couldn't figure out the e-filing software. I'm pretty sure they aren't allowed to do that since their campaign exceeds the paper filing threshold.

Sadly they didn't itemise most of the contributions, but the expenses are as sad as ever. Still no spending on any voter identification and targeting, no spending on printing or mailing. More money to the filmmaker guy, and they paid that Warren Lynch person who was in the Young Jurks podcast with Wu 1000 bucks for doing... something? She's also still paying for that office she never goes to. Hilarious.

Most of the donations seems to be from whales, including one cuck who donated the maximum amount. What the hell is wrong with these people?

Edit: In more scamtastic news, she paid to go to this event with campaign money... then MISSED THE FLIGHT and had to pay 4x as much for a new ticket. It's incredible the depths of failure Wu exhibits.

Edit 2: OH FUCK OFF! SHE SPENT OVER 200 DOLLARS ON POTBELLY SANDWICH LUNCHES OVER THREE MONTHS AND CHARGED IT TO HER CAMPAIGN. HOW IS THIS NOT A SCAM?

So basically what everyone is saying, is that Wu is too lazy to list all her expenses in an Excel spreadsheet and save it to CSV. And having a spreadsheet ,with all the expenses / income, is like the minimum a business owner should be able to pull off.

A successful business woman, everyone.

Add:

$1500 to rent the theater for Star Wars, and there was what, maybe 5 or 6 people that showed up? I guess it was still a win for Wu, since I'm sure he just wanted an excuse to rent a theater for himself. I think the most surprising thing was them having an employee, and it wasn't even Natalie. It's pretty amusing that despite all of his claims of wanting diversity hires and a staff full of women, the sole person on his staff is some dude named Warren Lynch.

Plus 250 bucks for facebook ads for the event. Since she eventually sold the tickets for 10 bucks a piece. I'm not even sure the theatre could hold enough people to break even on that shit.
