Bribri criticizing cigarette taxes? Is she bought and paid for by Big Tobacco? In realityland, cigarette taxes have played a massive role in reducing smoking (yes, even among poor people) which saves them and their families as well as the healthcare system huge amounts of money each year in reducing smoking-related medical issues.

It's almost like games where you're laughed at by the whole industry if you don't have a functioning system that replicates the entirety of physics in realtime while keeping track and controling no less than five separate AIs at a time that all react to some screeching idiot controlling the player character in 2017 have a lot more things that can go wrong that aren't noticed in QA when compared to games that hold less information than a Microsoft Word document in 1987. Shame on them for having a system that fixes bugs that slip through player testing post-launch.

Oh yeah, that's right. Her own game launched on PC with a bug that rendered the game unbeatable. Not like the player does some weird sequence that makes the rest of the game unwinnable, but an outright glitch that the player can't avoid because it's the final hit on the final boss that they have no choice but to make.

I guess it's not entirely hypocritical of her to complain about day 1 patches, since she never patched her own game's game-breaking bugs.
 
There's a lot of chest-thumping about the times when men were men I mean people wrote assembler code. But the games weren't complicated on home consoles, they were short and a rigid hardware blitter took care of all the drawing so a lot of games only had one programmer and a lot of games(especially ports) were done by a single dude and there are some fascinating stories from them. Despite that the games were bugged as fuck in hilarious ways , the minus world in Super Mario Bros might be the most well known and the speedrunning community is pretty much founded on it.
There's also this video of a tool assisted speedrun where they reprogram Super Mario World into becoming pong.

Eric "I Can't stop eating" Garner was not pronounced dead until over an hour after his encounter with the police, in an ambulance, due to reasons unrelated to any airway issues. He died because of poor life choices, firstly the choice to consume enough food to balloon out to 350lbs, and secondly the choice of thinking it was a good idea to run from & and fight with the cops while in said morbidly obese state. He had a good job with the Parks department, but said fat-fuck decided it was too much work, quit due to "health related reasons" (being a fat fuck) so he could collect disability while illegally selling cigarettes. His daughter apparently failed to learn that a family history of heart disease and diabetes means you need to clean your life up. The only way society has failed her was by her fellow citizens not smacking food out of her hands until she reached a reasonable BMI.

Who else do we know who keeps making poor health & life choices, and could use a good healthy dose of societal shaming? Who indeed....

Yeah people say it was a choke-hold but it was clearly a headlock and he died from the exertion of trying to attack the police. This is a Wu thread so I'll throw in something about video games: even GTA teaches you that fighting the police doesn't make them go away.
