Please empty your Mountain Dew in remembrance of John Flynt's 100,000k dead gay soldier friends...

It's sad that all gorillion of these friends of John died twice. Even after they all committed suicide, they then had to go and get killed in Iraq, too.

It's so unfair!

Doesn't John realize everyone knows he has no friends and never did have any?

Can't he even, like, just write down the numbers he makes up so he doesn't embarrass himself by lying about them constantly?

Dude, learn to keep your lies straight.

Her sexuality is a lie. There is nothing to suggest John Flynt or Brianna Wu ever had any interest in women, most accounts paint him as a flamboyantly gay man.

While all the other things you listed are definitely lies, I'd say that the character designs in Rev60 are a point in favor of her actually being bi. I thought she had some fanservicey anime games on Steam as well, although I can't find a solid source for that at the moment.

John is not attracted to women. They are a fetish. He masturbates to them.

I got to agree with you on this one. The character designs in Rev60 aren't John's ideal sex objects. They are his ideal identity. This is what he imagines he would look like in a perfect world, and yes, he'd be all about the cock.

You think she even knows what her REAL backstory is anymore?
Yes, he does. Most of his lies are exaggerations of the reality or John using intentionally vague language to give himself some wiggle room if someone calls him out. Note that of all the interviews he had over the last couple of years, I think there was only one or two where John felt brazen enough to say he graduated college and those could have just as easily been the writer inferring from John's ambiguous wording that he's a college graduate. It's whenever he attempts to add additional details (like naming his imaginary workers/significant others) or invents new lies out of the blue to feel special that he gets into trouble.

Make no mistake, John know his backstory very well. That's why he works extra hard to rewrite as much of it as he can.

@Peace and Harmony is right. John isn't attracted to women. He actually doesn't seem too fond of real women at all. Just look at the way he writes them.

To him, it's part of his bizarre autogynephilic fetish. John plays action games with female protagonists or watches dumb action films like Underworld because it's pure escapism for him - he wants to be that unrealistic, sexy, uber-badass woman who kicks all kinds of ass and all the men are hot for.

I'm glad to hear that you were looking out for your dogs' welfare John but ultimately I don't think they contributed much to the end result.

Given by that point, Revolution Stupider Edition was worked on by a team of one, Wu's basically saying they couldn't be assed enough to do more work at a faster pace.

What I find most fascinating about Johnny is the fact that his whole persona is 100% fiction but no one will call him on it.

Its like everyone he has contact with has agree'd to humor this psychopathic liar rather then deal with the drama his melt down would cause.

But the trick is; sooner or later Johnny will have to face his past.

If the moon (heh!) aligns and he somehow get the democratic nomination the GoP will rip him into shreds (oh please god please let this happen!)

Sooner or later Johnny will have to come to grips with either Anita or Zoe as there is only room for one "woman" at the top of the Women in Tech world. It'd be my bet that there are many parties just itchin to take Johnny down a few pegs as soon as he breaks the truce.

Plus there are always the former employees and others that Johnny used and abused as he climbed to the "top" of the Software Engineer game who no doubt would just love to clear the air.

I just hope that I'm around to see the meltdown when Johnny can no longer ditch and dodge those painful questions; it will be glorious.

I could take a photo of Wu, make her neck thinner and shop a scrotum on her head... But then I would need to shop a scrotum on Wu's head and nobody wants to see that, me the least.

It is still an open question, if Wu deliberately chose to run in District 8, because she knows that there is no chance in hell she could win against Lynch and that he probably won't even acknowledge her existence, since he is also a democrat. This way her play-pretending has little consequences.

Here we go with the "when I was a teen" again. Daria started airing in 1997, unless he just admitted to watching a ton of Beavis and Butthead where she sometimes popped up.

He wouldn't work in Daria, but Brianna wouldn't seem out of place in Beavis and Butthead, he really lends himself to be drawn in that art style with the lanky body, scraggly hair and turtle smile.

Also, in programming, the common off-by-one error is to assume that the number of elements in a contiguous array slice is equal to the index of the last item minus the index of the first item. You have to add one. Therefore, thinking there are two items in a list of three is the more common error, not the reverse.

Of course, to know this, you have to have done some actual coding in a language that is not sufficiently high-level to give you a simple way to get the size of an array slice.

John has not done any actual coding. Not in any language. Not at any time.

I legitimately thought that I was missing the joke until I read this. When has anyone, anywhere, any time, ever started a sequential array at index 2 by accident? In fact even if you're calling for the value in array, I've never in my life seen someone fuck it up like this.

I would say it could have been saved by saying "cache invalidation, one off errors and undefined" but even then, that's just monumentally exceptional and an error no-one other than Wu encounters.

I don’t think John understands off-by-one errors in the sense of element count vs index errors. I’m pretty sure John doesn’t know what an array is. We are talking about someone who fumbled around with the command line utility to upload his game to Steam for three days and then took to Twitter to complain that they need a GUI and beg for help. He simply isn’t skilled enough of a programmer to understand and retell a simple programming joke.

The way he typed it as “one off” errors instead of off-by-one suggest to me that he though it was something else entirely. I think his interpretation is that it’s where you are doing a repritive thing several times in a row and and in one case you make an mistake and miss it.

We all know you had no team and it was you and Frank at the end trying to fix the game. Your team either left or you fired them because you’re an egotistical, selfish asshole who acts entitled and is difficult to be around. That’s why you have zero friends, once someone gets to know you they want nothing to do with you.
