Wow John, you might even argue that politics is best handled at the local level and that the federal government should have as few powers as possible - hang on, is that still a vile racist position to take or isn't it? I can't keep up.
I doubt he leaves his hotel room other than to go to some shit convention. He wouldn't be able to last a day in a place like Toronto given how many foreigners are there, and he can't speak a word of French so Quebec is off the table. Even Montreal would lynch his ass for being Anglo.

The 'white guy' hiring was from 2014, so it's not even as if it's still topical.
But what gets me most, is wtf does that(if thats the giant bomb incident) have to do with anything to do with the convention.

Jesus fucking christ, just from a quick skim over of the workshops and events that are taking place during this convention, there's one that sticks out like a sore thumb, as if it was shoehorned in as an afterthought and not actually a real subject that would generally be accepted at this convention. Who wants to bet that Frank pulled some strings so that Wu could have his own panel to screech incoherently about old news all over again?

Huh. Normally Brianna-led "workshops" are dressed up a bit more so they don't stick out that badly. Or their titles are outright lies because Wu never talks about the subject and instead decides to talk about how awesome he is. Either way, Brianna's talks are always flops with low attendance partially because no one wants to hear how tough the stay-at-home trophy tranny has it and partially because Wu's reputation precedes him.

Nah, it seems like it's a real subject. See the overview here: http://www.aclweb.org/anthology/W/W17/W17-3000.pdf
Most of the actual research seems to be about automated recognition of hateful or abusive text. John gave a 45-minute "invited talk" after all the legitimate researchers' presentations.

Color me impressed, most of that panel could actually have been interesting, if not for the ogre lurking in the room the entire time and sneering whenever something against their narrow viewpoints are mentioned.
Brianna Wu is a 2018 Democratic candidate for U.S. Congress in Massachusetts-District 8. Brianna is also head of development at GSX, a Boston independent videogame studio. Brianna came to national prominence when she and other women working in the tech industry were personally targeted by alt-right hate groups, including one spearheaded by Steve Bannon, now Chief Strategist to Donald Trump. Despite threats on her life and her family, Brianna has never wavered as a voice for the marginalized, including women, people of color and LGBT individuals.

"I can identify any rifle because I play video games."
.....I feel a great disturbance in the autism, as though every former /k/omrade on the farms suddenly REEEEEEEE'd.
So putting aside that for a moment, does this mean that Brianna believes there are like 12 firearms in existence? Because every "realistic" shooter I think I've played picks guns from a pool of about 12 or so.
You got your 1911, your Colt revolver, an AK-47, M16, SPAS-12, RPG-7, AA-12, Barrett .50, something historical like a Mauser C96, and then usually some kind of gimmick gun that looks cool like the Vector.
So I guess she believes that covers about everything.
Oh, and I guess she knows Glock, since she claims to be able to field strip one.
