My city council and my state legislature affect my daily life far more than the President does. And that's a good thing.

It's a cheap shot at something Wu has already tried to deny (very poorly), and the reason why it wouldn't be effective by any random person is that Wu could easily shut them down and silence them, especially on Twitter.

If someone with much higher clout with far more strings they could pull tried that, the damage would be devastating, especially if they had far more social capital and reach.

Makes me wonder if Lynch could deploy that question to shut down Wu. On the one hand, it could backfire somehow and weaken Lynch's position by making him look anti-tranny, but on the more likely other hand it destroys Wu by exposing the biggest lie of all.

It continually amazes me how many people don't even know this. The sidewalks you walk on (if you walk you fat fuck), the streets you drive on, the local utilities you have, like gas, electric, water, all of that shit is determined by your local and state governments. You probably also have county commissioners. Do you even know who they are?

But people who don't know any of this obsess about the evil Orange Nazi President who doesn't do a goddamn thing to affect their actual lives.

I doubt John knows any of these people in his own local environment, either. But he wants to join the federal government, even though he doesn't know who the fucking dog catcher is wherever he lives.
 
And I can actually influence those local figures. My vote and my voice have a much larger impact on them than on any national election.

Why would Lynch see any reason to pull the pin on that PC grenade when he has absolutely no need to 'shut down Wu?' Wu is not a political threat to Lynch. Lynch probably cares more about the shit he took yesterday than Brianna Wu.

Agreed. Besides, he has no need to go that far, as John's failures and hypocrisy as Brianna Wu is more than enough ammo in case he ever needs to care.
