   2. You brought up your childhood a lot when talking about your experiences as a woman in tech. Do you think that you had the same experience growing up as a boy as natal women? Don't you think it would be important to disclose that?
2. What is the definition of "software engineer," and how is it different from game developer? Software is a rapidly changing field - do you still identify as a software engineer despite being out of the industry for years, and if so, why?
3. You are very upset that the wrong people are speaking on behalf of trans rights. What would you say to women who thought you were the wrong person to speak on behalf of women in tech? Do they have a right to be upset?
4. Why didn't you address the insanity in the trans movement earlier? Did you think it would not affect you, because you never admitted to being trans and have already transitioned? Were you worried you would lose your status as the female godzilla of tech?
5. You say you want to just live your life. Why did you base 10 years of your career on being a woman and speaking on behalf of women? Did you think you were entitled to women's spaces at that time?

It could be such a spicy interview.

First one seems real, just because we get John actually referencing someone by name for once instead of vaguely alluding to one of his "girlfriends". Second one is harder to say. I could see him being pissed at someone who tweeted at him and he didn't have a good comeback so he's just vaguely alluding to some friend. It could also be John bragging "look at me, I have an effective (in his mind) PAC while everyone else in the world isn't as good and pure and creating significant change through backchannels." Especially since it goes from losing a long-term friend to "eh, they actually sucked". It's such an extreme jump in reactions it's hard to take it as real. It's also rich hearing Wu complain about someone being self-involved/only talking about himself, since I can't think of a better way to sum up John.
