All Lynch has to do is mention he was born male and John will self destruct.

Literally. If it's mentioned during a political campaign, he's screwed. If he ignores the question, it's not going away. because he'll get barraged with proof he is and asked why he claims to be a legit woman when he's not (with the implications that if he can't be honest on that, how can he be trusted to tell the public the truth on anything). If he denies it, proof will destroy him.

And if he fesses up, we'd get the bonus of every single idiot denying Wu was trans for years subsequently spewing salt for the next decade in the first 24 hours.

Lmao, reading that article about this guy, and if all this info is true, supposedly he was pretty socially conservative to the point he authored an amendment to hate crimes that allowed people to be able to defend themselves over attacking gay people on grounds that they acted "lewd and lascivious". That's pretty weird, to be honest. He was also pretty anti-affirmative action, pro-life and pro-death penalty. But he seemed to have changed, and holds more liberal ideas nowadays.

And he also doesn't seem to act exactly like the average politician. He seems pretty strong on representing and protecting his local community by giving strength to labor unions and the like, helped establish a drug rehabilitation center for teenagers and a charter school and other local-minded actions. Doesn't seem he cares more about looking fancy in D.C.

If Wu is gonna base her campaign more on opinions and feelings on LGBT and women issues over talking about what she can offer to a community of grizzled factory workers who also might not appreciate being replaced by the tech industry, then she is already doing badly in trying to be more appealing than Lynch to the community she wants to represent.

It could get even worse for Brianna if she does decide to admit her trans status. Besides shattering her most sacred lie, there's years of material out there where Brianna has talked down to women "as a fellow woman", spoken from the perspective of a biological woman on sensitive subjects like reproduction, gotten speaking events and panel positions she wouldn't have been involved with if she were a man, and so on. While there's a segment of the far left that might not have a problem with any of that (at least not openly), most women have a very real problem with someone who isn't even biologically a woman trying to insinuate they are more knowledgeable or a better representative for them on subjects like women's health.

Basically, I don't see even a short-term gain for Brianna if she came out now; she's put too much stock into the image and it's clear that she benefited by hiding her status potentially over actual, better qualified women.

Johnny will just get the Troon Squad to do the footwork for him. Wu will milk this for all it's worth, including doing TV appearances (I'm looking forward to those) and collecting "donations" which Johnny will keep when he eventually drops out (sorry, no refunds! Just ask the people who paid for Jill Stein and Bernie Sanders's summer homes).

Wu has no intention of going all the way with this. He's going to push it as long as he can get free money and positive press out of it, but when it's time to put up or shut up, Johnny is going to come up with some lame excuse involving gamergate and death threats, and then bow out. Just like he's done with pretty much everything else in the past 2 1/2 years.
 
Will the campaign donations go directly to her Patreon? She can turn potential policies into stretch goals. "If I get $3000/month I'll ban white men in politics!"

Wu is a terrible person who has survived as a terrible person because he's been lucky enough to always have a get out of jail free card. Nothing would give me greater pleasure to see this sham of a human being suffer the consequences of his actions.
