Yes it is a thing. http://professionalvoice.org/feminization.aspx . It isn't usually necessary, a lot can come down to voice training. There are plenty of videos and material out there on vocal feminization through vocal training. Occasionally surgery can be necessary to aid in feminizing the tone but from what I understand it usually isn't.
 
Justice was already done - when Crutcher got his ass popped for not listening to multiple repeated warnings from multiple police officers over an extended period of time.

I think we can all now understand why Flynt/Wu didn't use spellcheck in the past.

Anesthesia comes out as Anastasia.

Flynt/Wu is such a moron that he can't even spell well enough for spellcheck to figure out what he's trying to write. Kinda pathetic for a professional investigative reporter.

If the surgery is related to smoking (and only that), that could help him in obtaining a better voice, but I never noticed that clear 'smoker' voice with him, even when checking the audio where he talks normally. So this sounds more like a surgery to try to make his voice feminine.

Life won't change for us even if he loses it completely tho, since he already tweets more than he has to talk on a daily basis.
 
At least Wu won't be able to sperg about the election results in her podcast.

But just let us daydream a little: If the surgery goes wrong, she might loose her voice entirely, or - even better - sounds for the rest of her life like Cobra Commander.
 
The most interesting part of all this, if it really is an elective surgery, is that it'd mean Frank is still pouring money into his Frankenstein of a wife. By all indications, you'd think he had given up long ago on improving her in any way.

Frank figured he's already wasted so much money in Bri-Bri, that it would be much more economical to keep her rather than accrue the expense of divorcing John and getting a new wife.

73 signatures. Including people who's credentials are listed as "LGBT reporter", "The Mary Sue", ect.

It wasn't even a petition, just an open litter to the site. The article even started out referring to Milo as "a member of the alt-right and a well-known internet bully".
