Yes it is a thing. http://professionalvoice.org/feminization.aspx . It isn't usually necessary, a lot can come down to voice training. There are plenty of videos and material out there on vocal feminization through vocal training. Occasionally surgery can be necessary to aid in feminizing the tone but from what I understand it usually isn't.Is vocal cord surgery to sound more feminine an actual thing? At almost 40 is it even going to make a measurable difference? I mean, Brianna does sound like a straight up dude (I was shocked the first time I heard that podcast) but I'm having trouble imagining how a procedure like that would even work.
