Why would revolution 62 have body diversity? There is one acceptable body type for people doing what those chessboard agents do: athletic.

Your WHITE MALE LOGIC is literally raping me in my butthole. There is no legitimate reason why a morbidly obese black woman in a motorised scooter with luminescent purple hair can't be a highly trained government operative.

You could absolutely have body diversity in a military/spy kind of game. Athletic builds for your typical "Mission Impossible" spy, muscular types or even burly Karnov-style strongmen for combat, pretty girls (or boys) who are good "honey trap" spies but useless in a fight, and so on. Pretty much anything other than Tumblr Fat could work. And you could even mix it up and throw your useless pretty-boy into a firefight and make the player find a way to survive, or send the Duke Nukem lookalike on a diplomatic mission. But, you know, that game might actually be fun.

Apple is a racist and sexist company!! Better buy their shit.

Does sexual reassignment surgery count as health care?

The thing about Manning is that, unlike Snowden, it seems like it was less of a case of an altruistic desire to expose wrongdoing, and more of a vindictive, angst driven lashing out against "the man" that was keeping him down. The whole thing played out just like some kind of sad Morrissy song: his desire for attention combined with his trust and subsequent betrayal by another autistic (Adrian Lamo) lead to his ultimate downfall. If he wanted to expose leaks, it seems like he probably could have easily done so without being caught or identified.

It's mighty nice of the Army to help him out by footing the bill for him to chop off his penis, especially when you conciser that the death penalty was at one point on actually on the table for this cat.

Tidbit From Wikipedia:
Cosmo reported that Manning is optimistic about recent progress but says not being allowed to grow her hair long is "painful and awkward … I am torn up. I get through each day okay, but at night, when I'm alone in my room, I finally burn out and crash."

The guy serving 35 years in a maximum security military prison, I'm really not sure what his expectations were when it came to the salon there.

The commentary from John of course is pretty predictable.

GREETINGS FELLOW ENGINEERS! I HAVE BEEN AWAY FROM THIS THREAD FOR A FEW DAYS, HAVE OUR ALGORITHMIC CHOICES BEEN EXCEPTIONAL?

"An Asian character that isn't a nerd."

Oh yeah Ryu, Liu Kang Johnny Gat, and Wei Shen are all such total nerds. Just because your cuck husband is a nerd doesn't mean all Asians are thought of as nerds.

To be fair though, you could make it more diverse by giving the characters different frames and builds, not just by making them fat. Maybe there could be a characters who's tall and a bit lanky, or a character that's large and burly working as the head of security or something. Expecting every character to have the exact same body size is kind of dumb, and it's one of the main criticisms actual feminists have had about R60, all the women have this uniform, horribly proportioned body and their only distinguishing feature is their hair and clothes.

Fuck "diversity" that's called "marketability" - making distinct characters that stand out because of some trait. Everything, except R60, has it

You could make a character like Pam Poovy from Archer, fat but extremely strong.

Don't be so quick to pat yourself on the back for not having an Apple product.

I have numerous Apple products actually.

I refuse to believe that John is capable of reading anything more complicated than the back of a cereal box.

"Unnessesarily."

How the fuck do you even rape a word that hard?

For fucks sake, iPhones have built in autocorrect. How is Wu constantly misspelling words?

John practically has to be going back and putting the misspellings back in.

Funny, who is the main person responsible for portraying Frank Wu as an Asian stereotype in public? That would be John Flynt.

John's ego has to be so big that he is dumbfounded when the phone corrects anything he writes. Obviously anything that comes out of "the godzilla of tech feminism" is beyond criticism even by machines whether misspelled or grammatically mutilated.

I imagine John shrieking QUIT MANSPLAINING QUIT MANSPLAINING at his phone.

And usually, the main character is extremely distinctive, so they can slap the guy's face on the box art and sell a bunch of copies because a person looks at it and goes "that guy's cool, I'll buy it". Or they get heavily featured in the marketing. Think about Mankind Divided or WoW: Legion, both of which came out same time as Rev60. Adam Jensen is immediately visually distinct-he's got a great, muscular figure, he has some really cool mechanical augmentations, and he's got some nice shades too. That's just what you see first. Or with Legion, the two characters that featured heavily in the marketing were Varian Wyrmm (who carries a big fucking sword and has some really cool plate armor) and Sylvanas Windrunner (who's an undead archer and is immediatly distinct because she looks like she's been dead for centuries).

Who features predominantly in the promo material for Rev60? Ironically, not the main hero, but Minuete the traitor. And what have we commented about the characters of Rev60? That they look like Bratz dolls, and she's wearing a checkerboard dress. It looks visually bland, mostly because Minuete doesn't look like a 'hero' or even a major character. Many of the characters in fiction try to give off a sense of being larger then life, as that's part of the fantasy that sells a product. SJWs can bitch about that all they like, but even in the days of mythology, our heroes have been greater then us mere mortals.

That's what Brianna Wu doesn't get-every part of a character, from visual design to personality to how they drink their tea (see: Hercule Poirot) tells you something about them. The visual design of the main characters of Rev60 tell us very little, other then Holiday likes walking around with a ballsack on her head.
