A Clinton staffer did forward around Birther emails, though, and you are your campaign - whether or not you agree with it. That's why Ron Paul doesn't have much of a defense over the crap in his newsletter, even if it happened after he stopped editing it. Still done under his name.

If it hadn't happened why did her campaign manager call Obama's to apologize?

Campaigns use lower level staffers to test smears all the time, makes it hard to believe it wasn't intentional when in this case it might not have been.

John's shrill defense of it is purely autistic brand loyalty.
 
Wu really hates gay men for some reason.

Since everything Wu thinks, feels and says can ultimately be traced back to some selfish motive I wonder if it stems from some grudge dating back to when she was a member of the Ole Miss LGBT alliance. I doubt she's actually interacted with many gay people since, barring tumblr bisexuals.

I suspect that Flynt/Wu hates gay men because none of them would have sex with him when he was a gay man.

This is the same reason he also hates straight men; they won't have sex with him either, even after he went to the trouble and expense of becoming an ersatz woman.

Beats me. All I remember is she and Katherine Cross (Who I'm dying for someone to start a thread on so I can learn what her deal is) did a talk on transgender characters in video games. Wu had previously said she would post a video of her "powerful" opening statement and I remember there was speculation here that she would 'come out' as trans. But the video never materialized.

Gay men get the shaft more often than not in LGBT discourse. Political lesbians dominate most LGBT communities and have been rallying for quite a while now to basically force them out, even though they get the bulk of the violence and discrimination.

Not surprised to see John doing all he can to fuck over gay men, seeing that, in a roundabout way, he is one.
