John's greatest Twatter break yet.

Reminds me of Yuri Bezmenov talking about how unions are only for moral victories. $7000 increase in yearly wage is like what, a $0.30 raise? And look at John cheering it on, as if this will finally be the tipping point that the families won't starve to death.

The short hand I was given was 2000 hours: 40 hour week x 50 weeks. So $3.5/hr raise.

If I was a member I'd be pissed about my union management making my healthcare cost more so some faggot can visit the OB/G to show off his identity affirming surgical wound & have his tittyskittles paid for.

Don't downplay the victories that are a $45,000 "diversity effort", 40% of interviews being "underrepresented backgrounds" and the right to whine on social media! Yay unions!

Also "forced relocation" for remote staff aka having to come back to the office when the pandemic is over lol

My retarded ass did 2080÷7000 lol, whoops.
No, no, that was a former Brianna, now she's a major political activist and tech podcast host.
And am engineer.

45K is nothing, honestly. Thats maybe one job search. They also asked for a 40% 'goal'. AKA 'oh boy we will try super hard to get them darkies in; we make sure the posting didn't include nigger and had a AIDS policy and no takers. OH WELL.'

On one hand: I can imagine some office denizens I'd like to never see again. You don't need to be in the office to write your shitty click bait.
On the other hand: If they aren't forced to be in their downtown bugman utopia, they will spreading out and shitting up other places.

Honestly the ability to work from home is the sort of thing I'd expect a union to fight for.

On the plus side, this ensures that Kotaku's cancer stays localized and doesn't metastasize elsewhere.

Nioh/Nier series does not have a plot. It has a bunch of pseudo-psycho babble strung together and occasionally interupted by chainsaw juggling T-Rexes because it is distilled Japanese id (see also: Metal Gear). None of the actions or motivations of the characters make sense in anyway except to serve as framing device for whatever social commentary the writer wants to make before they completely forget about and proceed to do the narrative equivalent of rambling about government mind control waves.
John just goes on about the plot because
a) Other smart and "smart" people gush on about how intelligent the "plot" is. The story is complex, but it is not smart, it is about two notches above highschool edgelord fanfic. But because its complex, it hard for someone to debate & debunk anyone who claims about the 'deep plot' unless you've played through all 1500 endings. Basically the only people who go through the whole thing would be fans.
b) The setup for the game, before they go all "Lovecraft, but a retarded highschooler and also on meth" is intriguing and full of mystery and lots of interconnected events. The connections are just all retarded.
c) People working really hard to come with something to justify playing Automata when the real reason is looking at 2B's 10/10 dat azz .
(Also becuase I recall Nioh had a tranny)

Elden Ring's plot (Or Demon Souls. Or Dark Souls. Or Blood Borne) makes just as much sense - arguably more so because when the characters there act in nonsense ways there is the excuse of 'Eldritch Horror Driving Them Insane With Power' - as Nioh/Nier.

Nioh and Nier aren't the same series.

I wonder what love language it is when you fire a vulnerable female employee after paying them $1 and giving them no credit for any work done.

Notice that John doesn't call for employers to give workers a retirement plan, medical insurance, dental insurance, paid sick time, paid vacation, paid maternity leave or paid family leave, none of which he provided to the contract laborers he hired (with Frank's money) to do all the work on Rev 60. Fucking hypocrite.

John this is just so hilarious, Elon will notice you soon and give you a free SpaceX rocket, I promise.

tl;dr: repeatedly its been shown that the right sort of morale spending does more to build employee cohesion and work satisfaction than giving everyone the $3 or w/e it cost the company.
Free Lunches/meals & free-form participatory events that allow people to show up and leave (i.e. pinic in a park, food truck food court, employee fair) and also involve their kids/spouse work the best. Clothing and chachkies are a more mixed bag - if you give people high-quality stuff it tends to work. I have a large mug I got a few employers back I use to this day. My current employer gave us a hoodie & polo for some company milestones that were so nice you'll see someone in the office wearing one or the other at least once a week. OTOH my last employer gave out a crappy t-shirt almost every month to the point where they finally offered an "opt out" size option - they were cheap silk screens not even good for momentos because the logos peel off about about the 3rd wash.

tl;dr John "Pay them $1 then fire them" Flynt knows as much about management as he does about being a woman.

Nioh and Nier aren't the same series.

You're right, I was apparently thinking of Drakengard (what nier spun off from before spinning off automata) not Nioh. Sorry all the weird nip games sort of run together.

>Twatter Web app

I'm sure it's the phone that's the problem, John. In any case, Elden Ring isn't going to play itself.

And one day later we have him once again baiting the Elon trolls:

Trying to show those sniveling Ukrainians what real abuse looks like, I suppose.

You must be very, very, very new to all of this.
I think he's just a time traveller from 2014.

I mean, when companies realized they could make their employees pay for their own office space by telling them to stay home and that it wouldn't even affect productivity that much, they weren't gonna force anyone to come back.
You mean I can reduce considerably the overheads by downsizing the office space, pay you the same, force you to move to a bigger place because you need space to work and at the same time normalize the invasion of your private time by work?
Wow, such a good thing unions are doing for us, I'm so relieved.

Funny how he's still going with this faux beef while not even mentioning how he actually did get dogpiled the other day for saying people should wait to go after a "transphobic" writer and her "pro-trans-genocide" book until people can read it. Wu deleted the tweet, I did not capture it unfortunately, it got a bunch of angry troon replies though. (Also, I should have replied to it with "how dare you try to speak over trans women when you are a happily straight-married cis woman!")

The J-man makes a good point here about schools in Mississippi, but maybe not the one he thinks:
"If you do not provide necessary resources for education, your kids could turn out as stupid as me."
