Cutting out Zoe was honestly a smart move for a few reasons:

1) Glosses over the "Five Guys" spark that started the whole conflict. I think general audiences would find the fact that the internet blew up over a single mega-ho to be "hilarious," and would lead to less viewers empathizing with the """""""""""""""""""""victims"""""""""""""""""""""" of gamegate.

2) Zoe is the biggest offender of the GG-based grifts. Imagine bringing up the Crash Override Network while listing the very brave things women were doing to stop "dem ebil nahtsees." No seriously imagine it. While the rest of the girls the series will doubtlessly cover were also blatant grifters, at least they produced something instead of just fucking off with the cash.

3) If Zoe is included she will be a complete trashfire and source of drama. She WILL find some way to be "victimized" on set and use that to sabotage Wu while spring boarding into her next KS project.

That said, I recognize that there is no way Wu (who is a full on retard) was aware of these reasons why they should cut Zoe out, and that they likely did it just to be a catty fruit.
 
Who is it for? The SJW’s that are active now are too young to remember. The people who were involved have moved on. The only people who’d care would just want to shit on it and use it as ammunition to reignite all the bullshit again- which defeats its whole (purported) reason. And how do you make an intriguing story? Even a single episode of SVU could barely hold a plotline together.

There’s no way this is getting any sort of investment put behind it.

That's exactly it. Quinn had control of the narrative since Day One, and used her connections with Kotaku and Silverstring Media to spin the narrative in her favor or suppress any negative attention.

Now Wu has wrested control of the narrative away from Chelsea, and it's Wu who can either spin Quinn's image to his liking or even omit Zoe from it entirely. Even worse, Zoe doesn't have the pull she had at gamergate's peak, nor can she outspend the deep pockets of John's husband Frank. This has to make Zoe's saggy meat flaps quiver in rage.

Chelsea could always play the misogyny card, point at John and say 'see.......this is what the women had to deal with and it's still going'.
 
Will he include the part where she took a completely unrelated murder posted on 4Chan, a place that had GG discussion completely banned, and made that about himself and how GG was a threat to him?

Isn't Wu's troonery something not to be spoken of, even among SJWs? Something like it would run afoul of a fair Southern maiden who escaped MAGAland, only to be put-upon by 4chan?
 
The new TV show is going to bomb. I'm calling it now- it's going to be an over-dramatized, black and white show aimed at children/immature adults that makes harassment (it's not harassment, it's consequence culture) directed at adults in their 30s (suck it up) the biggest issue in the world. Who wants to bet that all the good guys are women (because there were no pro-GG women who were harassed by anti-GG men, nor were there ones who refused to be human shields or anything) and the bad guys are men- UGLY men (invoking the "pretty people good, ugly people bad" trope)?

Even if what people like Brianna Wu and their defenders say is the truth, I really don't care. After the past four years of the most embittered, petulant, undignified winging at Donald Trump (and his entire family) where "pro-sensitivity" and "anti-harassment" SJWs unleashed the most toxic, dehumanizing, loud-and-proud public raging I've EVER SEEN on a daily basis, I'm not convinced that any harassment, real or perceived, towards a bunch of white, privileged women who frankly are horrible, hypocritical misogynists themselves deserve any sympathy. They want equal treatment to men? How about facing the same societal neglect and critical assaults as men?

After seeing how they treat female politicians who voted the same as Trump on at least one issue, as well as public displays of civil disobedience championed by the media and the so called "victims of harassment", I find it impossible to care about a bunch of easily-ignored edgy internet comments that they PROFITED OFF OF, to the point where it was seen as an advantageous move to harass themselves with their own sock accounts. Not only do I not care, but I feel that these supposed "misogynist harassers" were being too nice. These garbage humans can be air-dropped into Afghanistan and have rocks thrown at them by the Taliban for all I care. Good riddance.
