I always insist that even though GG fell to infighting, e-celeb drama and general faggtory. The one thing it did was highlight how the leftist gaming clique thinks and acts. Before GG there was the Mass Effect 3 ending, fans of the series decried it as ignoring choices and being rushed, bloggers said they were entitled and should stop whining. You could see something there but the average gamer didn't care about what a blogger would think. Go to 2014 and the Zoey post and suddenly they're defensive again but this time you have people telling you this is how they think and act and finally the "Gamers are dead" posts. A coordinated attack on different websites all spouting the same message, enough to make even a basic person with pattern recognition know something is up.

GG did it's job as far as I'm concerned. 4chan got a daughteru and some funds went to seals and pandas so that's also a win.

John is willing to say literally anything for attention, which means he will always have journalists and talking heads willing to put him in front of a camera. He just had a Washington Post article dedicated to him in August:

 
Please remember that Wu is currently going "i'm gonna make this, i'm gonna make that character" as a supposed co-writer, clearly indicating that not a single word have been written yet and it's still in his manic fantasy stage where, like everything he envisions, will be a roaring success. This is just another instance of him installing Street Fighter 2 cabinets to solve arguments when he becomes queen of capitol hill.

Though I would like to see Quinn's reaction if they actually managed to put out a trailer for #GamerGate and it's all about Wu.

I imagine it'll go much like it did when Wu tried to claim that she was the "Biggest Victim of Gamgergate" and Zoe replied on Twitter with "EXCUSE ME?".

It'll be fun watching those two have an internet slapfight over dumb shit that happened over 7 years ago.

Mind Riot has produced one woke TV pilot in 2019, has an unfinished/unsold documentary about the Seatle Seahawks. Going from their website, they are a bitch-firm - they scramble for tiny scraps from bigger companies.

Channels will green-light a few dozen pilots every year - get a premise, get a cast, shoot an episode, and hope it impresses enough there will be more. Some studios will self-finance a pilot, which is what Mind Riot looks like they are doing.

So what you do when you're mind riot, where you are floundering about obscurity, is you find something that will get you buzz. And that buzz is gamer gate.
On the face, its not a bad idea. Its been 8 years but people on both sides still froth and rage when its brought up. But also that no one is competing, you don't have to worry about another studio beating you to the punch or doing it better. I mean, this cause this thread to move like 10 pages. You'll get lots of attention and shares, and you can probably use that to sell the project for a nice payday.

So when they say "TV series" Wu is most likely getting brought in to "consult on the pilot" because it'll get eyeballs being John won't shut the fuck up about gamergate ever. If for some godforsaken reason this is picked up by a network, John will either be dropped from the project or sidelined, maybe given a token 3-hour a month consultant fee to Skype about his experiences with gamergate as a way to keep him docile.

But this "tv show" is almost certainly a one-and-done pilot.
 
I want a gamergate dancing with the stars encore. Where landwhale zoe has to dance with ralph and overcome their differences while
stumpylegged sargon and brianna wu argue about who is getting harassed more.

At any given time, there’s hundreds of “shows” being “developed” in “Hollywood”. The vast majority of them never even makes it to where somebody decides to put money in it, and out of those that do, only some ever get greenlit.
 
I don’t see this going anywhere, considering that he’s so controlling and wanting to make himself look like a martyr that nothing can get done.
 
Assuming this even makes it out of development hell, it will probably just end up floundering in obscurity on one of the streaming platforms or memed to death like the ridiculous SVU episode. It would be hilarious if the other Literally Whos from Whoville get jealous enough to try and sabotage it behind the scenes.
