When did that change? Last time I checked the Dev had full control over ther discussion board and could ban people from it.

The only ones that are above them in the food chain are global community moderators and Valve employees. They can reverse the decision.

They can only remove blatant trolls and people shouting racial slurs shit like that. They can't ban people or delete comments that say, "this game sucks and here's ten reasons why." That's what he's afraid of.
 
Do you know what prosecutors hate more than anything? People completely unrelated to the case calling them up and telling them how to do their jobs.

I can't wait for Ralph to be let go on probation. It'll lead to so much salt for Wu that he might join BLM over it.

They absolutely can do that. You think the discussion board software checks for whether or not someone is a troll before allowing the ban to become active?

There's been shit tons of stories of developers banning people for bogus reasons. Sometimes they don't even give a reason so the notification shows "Rason: -".

Community mods had to intervene in the past and unban people that got banned by the Dev for giving criticism.

I'm pretty sure most people, regardless of profession, hate that. The level of hate for someone telling them how to do their job does tend to rise with how many years they had to sink into the job, though, and lawyers have, what, eight years before they even get close to leading a case?
 
Whats new in the special edition with regards to gameplay/features? Based on the screenshots it looks like the same crap game with the saturation turned up so high it's physically painful to look at.

The last thread seemed to have uncovered that the QTEs have been replaced with typing of the exceptional, as far as I remember.

I never seriously considered the idea that maybe she wouldn't actually release the game today.

She said in black and white, not just on twitter but on the kickstarter page too, that the game was ready to go and she just had to press the button to publish it. There's no way, after all that, that she can actually not follow through... right?

Here is the livestream she had for her game at the beginning of July. This is supposed to be running off of a PC. So yeah, Typing QTEs is a thing, as is solid-color sky, garbled audio, and various other skullfuckeries.

IF the game comes out, consider this to be a preview of what is to come.
