1) Pretty sure this would fall under "libel."

2) The Araujo case happened in California, where Lynch wasn't even remotely involved in the first place.

3) The bill Lynch opposed back in 1994 wasn't to defend "gay panic" but was to make racially charged language a felony. to pull directly from his Wikipedia page (I know, not the best source, but I'm not paying money for the Boston Globe article) "He charged that the bill 'attacks merely words' and 'prosecutes young people who, in my opinion, haven't developed the responsibility and wisdom to measure their words.'"

Kinda ironic where you're talking about defending the youth by tangentially saying you would promote a bill to throw a 12-year old in prison for just saying "nigger" Wu.

To top it off, it's a straight up lie. The killers were convicted of murder, just not "hate crime."

I disagree, lynch has a platform beyond twitter. Any energy he gives to wu, gives her credibility. Free publicity is the most valuable thing to any public figure, lynch isn't going to help wu run her campaign. He's not going to legitimise her by acknowledging her. He's doing exactly what any politician worth their salt is doing.

None of these are a right, John. We don't owe anybody anything nor should we pay people to breathe/exist.

Is John's marriage getting rocky? Is he realizing he's fucked if it falls apart and he won't have money to pay for any of those 'rights'?
