Wu has published the Scam PAC
accounts for the last six months.
Literally the only thing they did this past period which can be considered "on mission" is the four ads they produced for Nina Turner, just a few days before the election. Other than that, they gave 1000 bucks to India Walton, the candidate for mayor of Buffalo, NY who managed the signature achievement of winning a primary against the incumbent and then losing to that same candidate as a write-in during the general election, which is a feat of incompetence so astounding I can literally only chalk it up to Scam PAC jinxing her.
For this almighty effort, Scam PAC spent an astonishing 180K dollars. Almost a quarter of million, folks, to produce four videos that even Jim Sterling would say were pretty fucking low quality.
You'll be unsurprised to learn that biggest single line item other than Zeta Corp, who I previously documented were the ones who actually did the five seconds of work to put the ads on facebook, was Wu's pay.
Once again Wu doesn't seem to get any set amount of money on a given schedule, nor do the payments seem to correspond with any feasible sort of piecework arrangement. Rather, it seems like Wu just takes money out of Scam PAC on a whim whenever she feels like she deserves it for her 18 hour a day "strategic consulting" work. I suspect if you had access to Wu's personal bank account, the payments would correlate with new toys that Wu decides she needs.
Other than that, fundraising was down even when you remove the 100K donation they got in H1. They spent 180K and only raised 80K, so they're pretty much running on fumes right now.
One last thing: meet Susan Dawson, Wu's "data scientist"
Susan's qualification for this role is that she's currently a master's candidate at Bentley University in Massachusetts. Given she's an older woman with a rather spotty work history, and frequent trips back to academia for more diplomas, I'm gonna go ahead and say this is yet another case of my husband has money.
I'll give her the benefit of the doubt that she's actually as competent at her craft as any university student who hasn't really got any work experience in the field can be, so it's probably Wu who was making up the absurd claims about how effective scam PAC's advertising was when there's no conceivable way to tell that from any metrics facebook give you about advertising performance.
Just like Wu's claims about how her congressional run was going to have A BIG DATA INTIATIAVE that never happened, this is another vanity exercise born out of Wu's conception of how a PAC should be run. Wu seems to have no concept of how to work systematically towards a goal, everything is just surface level gloss over a complete lack of real work.
