John isn't nearly capable enough to pull off an engine rebuild on that car.
John can’t do shit when it’s time to buckle down and apply themself to anything at all, let alone major auto repair. Nope, he’ll just throw money at the problem or sweep it under the rug along with the carcass of his dog, his downstairs mixup, and all of his other retconned failings.

What would be an appropriate fine for someone who has been running a scampaign for four years, using donor money to buy luxury cars and video games?

I'd answer the OP's poll, except my favorite John Flynt is the "Looks somewhere between a malfunctioning Disney World of Tomorrow automaton and a thoroughly confused preying mantis when reacting to news he doesn't like" John Flynt.

Looks like Wu destroyed another car. It's funny how all her sweet car mechanicin' skills go out the window the second anything is actually wrong with the thing.
Oh no! Not the campaign Porsche! However will Brianna be able to reach the masses now?
That got me curious, and since I recently did a check on Moviebob's Patreon stats, I figured it's as good a time as any to post an update on ol' Johnny Boy's. Here's his stats from the past year:

Continuing his long, slow slide to zero, down about $150 a month from this time last year. At this point, the majority of the movement seems to be people forgetting about their donations and having them run until their cards expire, with the occasional "why am I still donating to this shambling ghoul?" realization thrown in. Very rarely is there any amount of uptick, and it doesn't last.

We obviously can't tell how much each patron is donating, but I did find something interesting when I examined the drops in dollar amounts whenever he lost a patron. Frequently, these drops are only a dollar, sometimes two, and rarely more than that. But that suggests to me the average patron is only donating a buck or two, below the per-patron average of $3.88 on Graphtreon. Even assuming that there are still a few die-hards that are forking over more than that, I wouldn't be surprised if John's still inflating his own Patreon with Frank's money, possibly to the tune of $50-$100. Again, can't prove it, but it's food for thought.
John hasn't given a shit about Patreon since Giant Spacekat died. He's not concerned with posturing for the game developer crowd anymore (and he's on the outs with most of the cliques anyways) and he doesn't need to beg for a "fun fund" when Frank is giving him everything he wants.
Not everyone can afford a car, John.
Case and point, John himself. Frank has been the one financing all their vehicle purchases due to those misogynistic dealerships not accepting down payments in Sailor Moon statues.

Suckers, why would anyone donate to something abandoned for half a decade?
>My name is Brianna Wu. I make games, including Revolution 60 which has been on two Game of the Year lists for 2014!
>I make games
>including
Made that one shit iphone game in '14 and nothing else in 6 years

Not everyone can afford a car, John.
Especially not the cars he's listing. Even the Mississippi example requires a lot of money (though it at least requires actual work and skill). Very telling of his lifestyle if he thinks a Tesla is middle ground for affordability.

Brianna is the sort of person who talks all the time about how they "own a Porsche" but magically never mentions that its the entry-level Boxster

Hold the fuck up. She/He/It has a Porsche. Most of them are rear or mid engine. How do you fuck up so hard that you damage an engine that's sitting behind you? The only thing I could think of would be snap oversteer, but if you own a Porsche long enough you should know about it and know how to mitigate it.

....How many vehicles has she destroyed in the last 5 years?

Knowing Brianna, never doing basic maintenance like oil changes.

Slight correction. Until the Roadster he was trying to mod into a Bond car (seriously) killed over, Brianna had multiple Porsches.

Including this one? Three. There was the Audi that was practically a lost cause on purchase, Porsche #1 that he flew to Virginia for using campaign funds, and now Porsche #3.
Knowing Brianna, never doing basic maintenance like oil changes.
Well, that was one of the problems that fucked Porsche #1.

John was the mechanic, but John is dead.
Brianna is a lady, and ladies know nothing of manly man stuff like fixing cars. Right? ;)

The pre-Audi yard ornament, the Audi, this Porsche, and I think one other Porsche? I know John screwed up the expensive one driving it back from VA, but i don't think it was ruined. And there was also that Roadster as @Francis York Morgan mentioned....

Wu's Porsche is (was) a 968 Boxter. Cars of that generation have an incredibly high failure rate for the intermediate shaft (IMS) bearing. Estimates usually range around 8-10% at 100,000 miles, but anecdotally, the failure rate may be much higher, especially at mileage over 100,000. Even if the rate is as low as 10%, that is incredibly high for a road car, especially a Porsche. She almost certainly didn't damage the car while driving it in the traditional sense, she almost certainly blew the engine up by NOT taking it to a licensed Porsche dealer for service because engineer. This is a thing, a huge thing that people know about. Search IMS bearing, and result ONE will almost certainly be a reference to this specific problem in those specific Porsches. F in the chat for that engine, you didn't deserve to go out at the hands of an idiot.
