There are few things sweeter than watching Wu getting his ass whaled in public. It's dismaying how infrequently it happens.

Now, if only the FEC would take an interest in the bounty of misappropriation in John's campaign. (For instance, I recall him declaring a public meet and greet for his constituents late last election cycle. Problem is, the event happened at a comic con. In San Francisco)

Well you could also check his finances directly but why bother doing that shit when you can play Street Fighter vs X-Men

Wu's FEC report has finally been filed and I called it, I get to post a Picard facepalm.

Earlier this month she was forced to refile both the October and January reports, but she never corrected the April report with the new figures. Now she's filed this report taking figures from the April report that are now all wrong, making this report also wrong. This was obviously going to happen because we've learned from countless examples that Wu doesn't keep proper accounts, she just takes the previous figures and adds this quarters income/expenditures on to it (no doubt from inadequate records.) That's the perfect way to have errors compound themselves.

Anyway, headline figures. She raised 45K and spent 61K. That's quite funny because technically, if you assume the cash on hand figure in the January report is correct she now has something like -12K on hand, she's in fact spent more money than the campaign actually has.

Expenses include big money to the usual cast of characters, Brandon Kahr and Paul Casali. I think Grant Lincoln may have been dumped because he only got money in April. Elizabeth Spears also picked up 6000 bucks, as was obvious from her twitter shilling. I'm surprised it was so little money. There was also another visit to the Apple Store, so I guess Wu needed a new macbook. I think they also paid for their trip to that California sci-fi convention with campaign funds. The evil empire of Facebook also picked up a bundle, so that's nice.

This figure also excludes the 50k they borrowed though, right?

This so pathetic, a simple excel spreadsheet could easily keep track of all this shit and simplify filing for Frank. It’s sad and hilarious how inept the two of them are at this but also pathetic the FEC isn’t stepping in to slap them down harder after repeated offenses and mistakes. It makes me think they’re either severely incompetent (which we know) or they’re hiding something...it’s probably just both.

Again, for all John’s talk about being an expert engineer and programmer etc how can he not manage build something to manage his finances and continues to fuck it up so badly? We all know the truth but someone in the media should finally call Brianna wu aka John flynt out on it.

Callouts from the report: spent $1600 at Apple and probably bought a MacBook Pro (more personal toys), spent $3k on personal travel (air and hotels), his campaign “staff” are getting paid which probably chaps his ass and why the scampaign is in the negative, he didn’t bring in more than Lynch but won’t correct the record because he can lie with impunity.

Edit: archiving his stupidity and inability to do simple math or read numbers...some investigative journalist engineer!

As I read the filing, John claims to have $35,000 in cash on hand and owes
Frank $50,000.

So the campaign is officially $15,000 in the red. Do I have that right?

Is Frank willing to flush another $50,000 down the toilet on his trophy tranny? Or will he start hoarding contributions, pay himself back, and cancel Operation Flim-Flam with some vague hand-waving about the candidate collapsing after three years of 70-hour weeks on the campaign trail?

Maybe John will cite all of the "harassment" he's been getting on Twitter as a reason to quit. It's gotta hurt to be exposed as a fake engineer, fake journalist, and fake candidate.

Sorry for the DP.

Yes, that's about the size of it. But it's actually much worse than that.

In the refiled January report, Wu reported cash on hand of $18628.22.
In April, Wu reported she raised $23343.90 and spent $38994.46, which would mean her real cash on hand at the end of April would be $2977.66.
This quarter, she raised $45125.29 and spent $61930.30, which makes her real cash on hand now -$13827.35.

Combine that with the 50K loan outstanding, the committee owes almost 64K.

Haw! Wu's antics must be enticement for scores of bored feds (I hope, I hope!). It would be sooo Wu to get nicked for something as banal as theft BEFORE he even gets elected.

Reminder - investigative journalist Brianna Wu thinks "deadnaming" troons is a fireable offense.

Anyone want to place a bet on how many times Wu is going to repeat the "I raised more!" factoid without ever checking the actual filings?

I hope no Twitter w.e.e.ns will burst his bubble and inform him of Lynch's real figures until some time has passed. I imagine he will be fuming if he goes around elatedly bragging about his false accomplishment for a few more days before he finally discovers the truth on his own.
