What do you think, folks: a lie or a big damn fucking lie?

Just let us assume, that if New Hampshire goes to the republicans this year, Wu was there and 'helped'.

I can't imagine a better argument for 'not voting for Clinton' than a shrieking tranny volunteer with a democrat button, trying to educate people on women in gaming, misogyny, GamerGate and her own harrasment.

Two things:

1. Normality was a rather good game despite its terrible box art and weird character design.

2. THE MYSTERY OF THE DRUIDS

Damn, if this could've been posted one day earlier, it could've read "Only 60 days until the revolution"

I was wondering if Jeff K wanted to have a word with Brianna about how "this fickign gaem dosent like teh way i type whatthe fcuk." Maybe he can h4x0r a few of his favorite MSPaint artworks into the game via the dev console.

The biggest mystery for me is why Frank has chosen to marry John and spend all this money. He's clearly a massive sped, but he's self-imposing such a monstrous existence on himself.

What's his long game actually? I seriously think he intends to fuck over John savagely at some point.

Four hours? There are shitty hentai rpgmaker games with more content than that.
Someones been scanning Patreon I see.

What GGer died?

So, I have been reading Rev60 reviews on steam and this one kinda stands out to me...
http://steamcommunity.com/id/PhallicBaldwin/recommended/350200/

... not because of the comments themselves but because this person got the game for free. I'm not very familiar with steam but since this guy isn't a professional reviewer, does this mean he is one of the kickstarter backers? The only other option I can think of is that someone gave it to him as a gift in which case we live in a very cruel world.

The guy shits all over the game so another satisfied backer I guess!
Guy shat on Killing Floor 2 without a reason. He has bad opinions

This is the whole "Renegade Shep is actually the True and Honest Hero and Paragon Shep is an evil asshole" shit all over again, isn't it?

Jesus she really is a self insert.

I doubt they'd sell particularly well. Obscure and unpopular games are unlikely to have cards that are considered valuable. The steam community appears to only pay more than a dozen cents for trading cards that have things of value on them, like catgirls. No, I'm not kidding.

Vanilla second best girl.

Oh look 4 of my tags that I suggested showed up.

You can usually look up anything relating to Steam cards, emotes, and badges with Steam Card Exchange. However, it appears that Revolution 60 doesn't even show up in their database. Not even under the "Missing Content" page. There's probably nothing there at all which is why SCE has no record.

As for achievements, which someone else had mentioned, the DLC doesn't have the little icon for "Steam Achievements" under its features. It's unlikely that the game will ever have them because Brianna won't be able to figure out how to add the triggers. (Even if you do not have a game's DLC, any achievements associated with the DLC will still appear as "Locked" in your account and in your library.)
So youre saying I cant get a complete game with this shit and it will fucking up my perfect record? Bad review incoming.

Work a very stressful job to make lots of money. Invest $500,000 in your tranny husband's video game. Work on his video game at night. Fall asleep because you're exhausted working tow jobs. Get cucked in public by the tranny

The Frank Wu Story
uodFVlk.png
Who the fuck sleeps with thier arms like that?

Nothing, just like in all Voyager episodes. Everything is reset at the end of the arc. Lather, rinse, repeat.

All three are terrible episodes (even by Voyager standards) that can be skipped since the events that happen are rendered moot by the end. Year of Hell and Timeless are both time travel stories that focus on timelines that are erased at the end of the episodes. Course Oblivion is a sequel to an earlier episode that features a doppelgänger crew and ship made from space goo. Because they went too far from their planet, the space goo are dying and are trying to find Voyager before they all die. In the end they dissolve into space goo just before finding the real Voyager, which avoids the space goo as though it were a space puddle.
I like Year of Hell and Course Oblivion. If anything you should like Year of Hell because Janeway blows herself up/

Every scratch is a sign your a butterfingers and that its probably your 3rd replacement phone.

...being married to Brianna Wu for 8 years and spending money, that could easily amount to more than a million Dollar, on her whims and 'projects', just to fuck her over? If that is a 'long game' Brianna should know the secret to cure cancer to make that worth it.

I think it is more likely that he gets off on the fact that she is utterly dependent from him.

1. It is likely the case that a huge percentage of the Patreon cash is actually from John himself, puffing up the figure with some kind of weird self-applied fractional reserve banking type of scenario.

I'll need to check, but a long while back IIRC we somehow got a peek at records of the number of individual financial contributions (only pledged amounts, no actual account info of those transactions) to that Patreon and it was quite telling that there was a large gap between people contributing similar small amounts like $1...and spontaneously huge amounts from one account here and there. Those single pledges in the hundreds mirror the sudden rise of the patreon amount after occasional drops of actual patreons leaving.

But if anything is certain, at most the true amount of legit contributions and not Wu trying to fake donations to lure in others with a honeypot scenario has to be less than 50%. Wu burns thousands monthly on every new tech gadget and such, to them even if the entire patron amount is their money to begin with, it's money they feel can be burned like pocket change.

2. Even if all funds were legit, John has spent an order of magnitude more money to make what little he has done (and $40,000 in two years is pretty pathetic).

Not surprising given R60 in its original ios format cost ten times as much in twice as many years and failed to make profit even with all those undeserved 'awards' from confidants.

3. His professional credibility to all but the most dyed in the wool SJW acolytes is irreparably damaged.

Honestly I don't think Wu cares about that - people to Wu are only worth the amount to which they can further Wu's own ambitions.

This of course also extends to dogs. Crash in his dying moments was worth more to Wu as twitter rage material than a living, breathing creature of companionship.

My only answer to this is that Frank has a hidden dark side.

I heard about another case where a quite attractive, successful man married a woman who seemed significantly below his league, and a lot of people thought there was something strange or off about them. It turned out the man was a serial child molester and the wife was an accomplice. The reason for Frank marrying John may be that John does something for him or allows him to do something that no one else is willing to.

Frank's not exactly a looker, but he's got connections high up in the geek culture, so I'd figure he could get with any number of women who are aspiring artists or authors or something, women who have both more creative talent and better looks and personalities than John. When I consider what John could offer that no other woman could, the only thing I can think of is that he's willing to do something for Frank that would cause most people to NOPE out. We know John's morality is entirely self-centered, so I can easily see him going along with Frank if Frank was committing crimes or doing something unethical.

IIRC Frank has at least one ex-wife who said he was an abusive fuck who even went stalker-ish in trying to ruin her life at some point. But the full history of Frank is something we both don't have a lot of knowledge about and probably is something we should look into.

Is that what happens when a person gazes upon a nude Wu?

That explains why Frank seemingly has that exact expression on his face in every picture he's in.

I've seen this said before, or variants of it (i.e. Frank is a massive control freak and gets off on knowing he could completely end John in a heartbeat). It's unsatisfying because it implies John is able or willing to do something or provide something that others aren't. We know that isn't the case in any other area of Johns life. The fact that Frank was married to an actual woman previously, who aired dirty laundry about them, makes me think there's not something hideously wrong with Frank either (like malformed penis or some huge insecurity/complex).

Maybe Johns parents agreed to give Frank some huge chunk of their wealth in their Will just to get John off the streets and out of their hair, but again, Frank is not exactly struggling for money.

Except IIRC, they thanked somebody in Frank's family for a free house, in the R60 credits.

As we know, R60 alone cost $400K and is money pissed away for absolutely no money regained. A quick google search suggests that is more than the average price of a house in the state of Massachusetts. And Frank also drove around a shitty Honda for years even though he certainly could have afforded something better if Brianna was burning $100K yearly on a lost cause and a shity-ass racing bike I don't think Brianna is even licensed to drive (or even shown off recently... I wonder what happened to Wu's other pride and joy they praised themselves for getting).

Additionally, we've seen the 'pens' for their dogs and they are horribly cobbled together wire pillars - even dog transport cases are larger than those things (small wonder why the dogs destroy the furniture when not in the cages). Like some shoddy excuse simply to put the dogs like they're a high-maintenance furnishing instead of pets.

There is certainly more to the puzzle that is the couple Wu than just BriBri being a golddigging cyber-freak, but we know so little about Frank himself beyond bits and pieces we can't really get an idea of who he is. We can predict Brianna's behavior easily because we compiled a comprehensive history on Johnny boy and the pattern was evident from his infamous early college years all up to the present day. But Frank actually has clout with established sci-fi functions and Hugo awards, arguably this means he's more documented by default than the nobody psychopath he married, but beyond the ex wife's story we know nothing of him before marrying Brianna.

So Frank's fairly well off and Brianna still went through a bargain basement transition. Interesting.

Edit: I also find it interesting that Frank must have some idea of how much Brianna lies on the internet. About her employees, the size of the company, her connections within the industry, etc. etc. And that apparently is just fine.

Frank is fully aware. He is just the one that understands that you can only con a group for so long.

We've discussed Frank's motivations before. Though I'm not sure if he would actually leave Wu (at present anyway, I think that point is still a bit of a ways off)

The thing is Wu basically lives his life acting on the basis of "what would a real empowered woman do?" "what would an independent wife do?" ect. Rather than "what would *I* do" - everything is tied to his idealised gender.

Like with Frank, it feels like they are trying to approximate what they think the average couple should be like. It doesn't feel real.

Like when he does stuff like "lol hope they refer to him as Mr Wu!" and "haha subjecting my husband to bullshit because I can~" - there's something kind of sad about that. Like it can't just be enjoying each others company or working together to make things work. He just constantly wants to be in some assumed power struggle and prove that superiority.

He even does this with strangers. There's no "hey cool this person is interested in talking about the thing I mentioned" - it's just "is this person trying to act superior to me and how can I take em down a peg?"

The main thing about the Wu household I don't understand is how these personalities fit together.

Judging by Alison McBain's blog post, when she was married to Frank he was manipulative, abusive and controlling. He constantly denigrated her writing skills and told her she was nothing without him. He treated her like property, and once she left him he stalked her and had his friends harass her. It sounds like he was insecure and felt he was lacking control in other areas of his life and so took it out on his wife.

So why in blue hell did he marry Brianna? For an insecure, controlling abuser to pair up with a narcissist makes no sense; I've never heard of such a personality change happening. An abuser like McBain described don't just up and marry someone who disrespects them in public, uses them as a human piggy bank and damages their reputation. I would expect the first date between two such people to end in a screaming fight if not violence.

An abuser needs someone to feed their need for control, and a narcissist needs someone to feed their ego. I don't see how either one can meet the other's needs. The fact that Frank was willing to spend so much on Rev60 is another head-scratcher. He obviously has some art skills and political savvy to be as connected as he is in the SF/F scene, so him giving so much money to his obviously incompetent wife is hard to understand. He could have hired some small indie studio to make the game for a fraction of the cost, with Brianna joining in as a creative consultant. Instead he gave her all the control and stood by as she burned a huge pile of cash.

If McBain was telling the truth, he morphed from a trailer park husband to Brianna's goofy sidekick who doesn't know how to handle money. It doesn't compute.

So John decided to repeat the cycle when he was in college, if Hillary lose the election i expect a rant about how GamerGate ruined america by not voting for her, only to later throw Hillary supporters under the bus saying that is their fault that she did not win and he feels "disappointed"

In my opinion he is trying to expand all the places he can flee, because Game Developer Brianna Wu is never going to come back, now we are going to get Journalist/Politic Wu

An abuser needs someone to feed their need for control

Oh but Frank controls John, that is why there is no more projects on GSX schedule, John doesn't have ANYTHING in his name, the house is not even his, John can simulate to cuck Frank all he wants, he has the power to let him die of hunger in the streets if he wants it and he know it

But the strange thing of this is i don't know why he chose John, maybe he believed he could access the wealth and connections of John parents without knowing he was disowned, or maybe he need a pet troon to access some SJW circles, in the end having John is a waste of resources

I don't think it was exactly a bargain basement transition. Wu seems to have had not just a dick chop, but tonnes of surgery: nose job, boob job, forehead reduction, cheekbone implants, Adam's apple reduction...

It's just that since John Flynt was already one ugly alien-looking motherfucker as a man, no amount of money and surgery can make him into a decent-looking woman. Especially since he transitioned later in life.

Something I think people are missing about Frank and Johns relationship is that they are both massive spazzes. They might be argumentative and abusive to each other behind closed doors, but I think they also genuinely enjoy each others company. Frank is a giant manchild. His art is surrealistic and 'zany', he draws dancing dinosaurs n shit. He makes Star Destroyer xmas decorations, has no problem going to an arcade at midnight on a work night and has fun getting chauffeured around playing Pokemon Go. He wanted to make an animated movie about a giant space chicken making a movie about a giant space chicken. A lot of his crowd seem to be middle aged and older Sci-fi nerds that might also enjoy these things, but not so 'energetically'. He doesn't need to put John down in public, because in private they both understand exactly who has the power.

Compare this to John, someone that wants to be seen as a hip young tech entrepreneur, but really just sits at home all day bitching on Twitter, watching TV and playing games. He has fun acting like a kid with Frank but he's a narcissist that hates being the loser, so he puts Frank down in public and Frank tolerates it both as some kind of "see we're young and fun" lifestyle and a shield for the fact that he's been accused of abuse in the past. Frank is only 52, he's got plenty of time to have fun with John before dropping him and finding someone better if he wants to.
