Frank Wu sez:

"I am reminded of something that happen to Bri a few weeks (months? time flies) ago. George W. Bush (or someone at his bidding) set up a facebook account. Bri signed up. Then she wrote something like 'GEORGE W. BUSH SHOULD BE TRIED FOR WAR CRIMES!' on George W. Bush's facebook page. She was immediately banned from the page and her comment was deleted, leaving nothing but comments like: 'GEORGE W BUSH IS THE AWESOMEST PREZ EVAR!!!!!!'

I don't want this lj to be like that. If you disagree with anything I say, feel free to post your comment. Feel free to, well, comment anyway you like. As long as it's not advertising for Viagra, I'm not likely to delete it or ban you. (I'll read it, but I may not respond to your comment - heck, I often don't comment on comments I 100% agree with!) But, heck, this is a country built on free speech. So, yeah, feel free to disagree with me in the comments."

"CORRECTION
Because, unlike many pundits, I actually respect truth [Frank, please. -ed.] (or TRVTH with a Capital V), reality, and journalistic integrity, and to correct my error which I was too lazy to fix earlier, I present the following correction:

Bri didn't actually post 'GEORGE W. BUSH SHOULD BE TRIED FOR WAR CRIMES!' on George W. Bush's facebook. (I kind of made that up, sort of like the story of George Washington cutting down the cherry tree). She actually said the milder and less rude 'You suck.' About 10 people 'liked' it before it got deleted.

I regret making her look like a liberal stereotype."

"I fully support Fred Phelps right to protest funerals of Iraq soldiers with signs that say 'God Hates Fags,' and 'Thank God for Dead Soldiers.'...

Still, the fact that I vehemently disagree with what he says has nothing to do with my belief that he has a right to say it. I think we all forget that the first amendment is most meant to protect political speech that a majority might find distasteful or offensive. This is why, in my opinion, it’s important to protect Fred Phelps’ right to make outlandish public statements against gay rights. It’s this very same principle that gives me the right to participate in demonstrations to impeach Presidential-appointee George Bush."

Sure thing, Mr. Ban-Happy.

I guess this is a beyond obvious comment since we all know he's married to a man, but good GOD Frank Wu is a giant faggot.

Bitch I attempted to vote for the new Labour candidate to fuck them up, and they banned me from it before I could (never got my £3 back!), yet I know that doesn't make me a hard man, that makes me a failed political saboteur.

John Flynt sez:

"Huffington Post guilty of Intellectual Dishonesty

Bri here.

This really pissed me off this morning, and I just have to share it. One of the things I like about being a liberal is caring if what we're saying is true or not. True, it's one of the reasons the right is more effective at their message - they have no compunction about lying to make a point. But, we're liberals. We can't do that....

Unless you're the Huffington Post.

Check out this article by 'Dr.' Carolyn Dean on HuffPo about how to quit coffee. It reads well. Her 'credentials' are in the headline. She's presenting herself as a medical doctor, and goes on to explain homeopathic ways to wean yourself off coffee.

The problem is, if you Google her name, you find out she's been ruled as unfit to practice medicine. Here is a great link describing why. She ignored scientific evidence in 36 reviewed cases and prescribed homeopathic treatment when the science indicated it was unwaranted.

Or, to quote the diciplinacry comittee, 'Dr. Dean has displayed [a] lack of skill and judgment and a disregard for the welfare of these patients of a nature and to an extent that demonstrated that she is unfit to continue in practice.'

But there HuffPo is. Quoting her on the front page as an expert, letting her portray herself as someone with bonafides. Do they just not Google people before publishing them? It's intellectual dishonesty of the worst sort, straight from the Fox News playbook. They like homeopathic and naturalistic medicine, and have no problem misleading their audience to make a point. Disgusting."

Yes, that is intellectual dishonesty of the worst sort, straight from the Fox News playbook, John. And it is disgusting.

Then why exactly is that how you behave and how you're often treated in the media by the likes of... HuffPo?

This dude, who claims to be a "software engineer" based on absolutely zero credentials whose entire public history is an absolute lie, is taking someone to task for "dishonesty?"

Not just that, for being a fake "expert."

Now, that is some delicious irony.

Not true, she alienated the staff behind Revolution 60 just fine when she removed their names from the game and took all credit.

Speaking of? Big update today. I finally have enough of a grasp on Brianna Wu's character that I'm comfortable saying that she lies about as often as the fucking Deciever, which would also explain Brianna Wu's appearance.
That article is a masterpiece and you should be very proud of it. :semperfidelis: I wonder if our dear friend Banana Wu has seen it?
(Hey, don't anybody get any ideas, I was seriously just asking...)

How's Rev60 PC coming along, John?

"10:30 am August 27th, 2013 [over 2 years ago - ed.]

And now... the grand finale of our "Revolution 60" Kickstarter!

We are in the final 3 DAYS (!) of our Kickstarter for "Revolution 60"!

We've already blown past all our stretch goals (thank you, everyone!), so that anyone who pledges $20 or more will get both the PC and the Mac versions of the game when they are released next fall. (The iOS version comes out in the spring, but there's no technical way for us to give that to people.)

I am so proud of this work. We are a tiny independent team, and we are trying to do one of the most ambitious games ever released on iOS. There are four main people (Brianna our head of development, Amanda our lead animator, Maria our programmer, and me - I designed the spaceships). We have worked and slaved (Brianna works 80+ hours a week - literally) on this for years."

"worked and slaved"
"Brianna works 80+ hours a week - literally"

Nothing like having a "famous" "all-female" team that's 50% dudes. Or products that ship years later than promised.
