Counting gears and playing xylophones is going to make girls better as engineers? Really? Congrats, Wu, you've created something that imitates Sesame Street and in the process, proven your opinion of the intelligence of other people has not increased since college, you hubristic fuck. All the fucking games you could have borrowed from for inspiration - The Incredible Machine, Bad Piggies, Besiege, fucking Kerbal Space Program (Which has been accredited by fucking NASA as getting kids into astrophysics) - and you go with this? Seriously?

This is why everything you ever work on fucking fails, Wu: Because fucking fourteen years hence, you still think that fucking patronizing your audience is how to earn their support. Without being able to ride the coattails of people more qualified and more financed, you would have nothing.
 
I'm betting that Wu goes back to being a man once everyone stops paying attention to him. Or at the very least "comes out" as transgender (I put that in quotes because everyone already fucking knows). Anything to stay in the spotlight and grab attention.

Hmmm, what other woman do we know that is unusually tall and frequently gets accused of being trans? Could it possibly be the nearly 6'5" Brianna Wu? Is it possible that the only reason she's so adamant about Samus, who is widely regarded as being one of the most badass fictional women ever, being trans is that she's insecure about her own identity and is trying to use Samus as a way of dealing with it? Nah couldn't be.

Helping change public perceptions of a hate group

I have never seen Wu at a rally for LGBT or specifically trans rights. Wu is not who I think of when I think of groundbreaking female or tranny devs. Most people who do not care about games do not even know that Spacekatgal even exists. Wu has done nothing to promote #BlackLivesMatter but ape the group and say "I know what they've been through so I can speak for them" or telling other people to shut up, effectively nullifying any conversation and associating #BlackLivesMatter with an echo chamber and a mob mentality. If anything, attaching Wu's name to anything as a "positive" note instead of a "crazy tranny" is a good way to murder support.

Given women jobs and training in gamedev

I have not heard of the Brianna Wu Scholarship for Females to Engage in the Tech Industry, so I'm going to assume that isn't what she means.

1) "Around" the world, Wu. About makes it sound like you're trying to sound cultured and failing miserably.

2) Are you referring to that Apple article that everyone pointed out was incredibly impractical because there simply aren't that many women in tech? Also, "high profile" implies that these articles have won awards or have been specifically applauded by the publication in question, and when I look up Wu, I don't see "journalist that wrote X" as one of the things that immediately comes up.

Unless we're referring to Tranny Samus, which is :story: on so many levels that I can't even.
