It will be interesting if she actually comes out as trans after this shit show. Then again is stuff like this that is not only gender issues or she having a fetish for women but also considers being a 'feminist woman' some sort of status and social symbol.

The main reason she used Samus is because the character has a emotional resonance to her (whatever if is that she identifies with her or is just attraction fetish) so is her very spergy and egocentric way to introduce the idea to her followers of she being trans.

Still smells like desperation as she knows to well that her social circle have ideological issues with "transexuality and feminism" and the mainstream media would probably think twice before asking the feminist perspective of videogames to her, since one of her favorite stories is "how she was a young girl playing games".

Sure they do. If you make your world small enough, you can convince yourself that you're the center of the universe.

With all the mental gymnastics that Wu does, I shudder to think of the state of her sense of self.
