Wow, this morning is interesting. GethN7 informed everyone he spoke with Twitter staff, is not going to even attempt to tweet anything in Wu's direction anymore since he has no desire to be accused of a being a harasser, and intends to honor his word.

This particular user just wants to crucify him anyway:

Oh good lord Louise Mensch. What a fucking surprise. Considering she's basically a professional twitter troll these days (after her ego-tastic twitter replacement "Menshn" failed miserably) I'm not surprised she's attached herself to the Wu-wagon.

*Edit* For those not in the know, her most recent particular brand of scummery was trying to dox and harrass a 17 year old girl who started using the #milifandom during the last UK election

Fuck off Wu and fuck off Twitter for enabling her. People responding to her public posts isn't "harassment" and it's sickening that she can essentially bully anyone who dares to say something contrary to her (ever-changing) narrative.

The revolution will not be silenced.

Geth_N7 is currently in convos with Grummz.

Welcome aboard, dear.

Grummz will be in a game.

Update: Seems like GethN7 got suspended anyway.

It doesn't matter. Geth can just make a new account. In the meantime, John and his asspatters have yet another black mark against them that will never be erased. Another glorious victory of Internet neckbeard feminism. By the way, how's R60 coming along, John?

Damage Control.txt

Remember, he just kept shitting all over this company without apology, until now

No shit Wu, this is why you are backpedaling:

Tweeting Skeletor pics, how appropriate:

More Sarkeesian style trope bullshit

Wu damning Ant-Man with faint praise.

Somone gon' be pissed when I finish up the Revolution 60 article.

What the fuck? He doesn't harass Wu at all.

And now we find out his account was suspended? Why?

The most bizarre part is how most of the messages beforehand was him saying up and down "I'm leaving Wu alone from now on, no need to call out the dogs, told Twitter Staff the same thing"

Is there a way to appeal someone else's suspension as unjustified?

So interesting note by the way: Revolution 60 is still $6. It manages to hide its costs by advertising as free then trying to extort you for its price after playing through the opening where Holiday shoots down an Astronav due to its pilot being a fucking idiot. I'm running a battery of tests, but I think Wu did something very silly with how the game's touch controls were implemented and if so it'll make for some entertaining reading, Kiwis.

You might want to look into the legality of that extortion scheme. Shareware or "nagware" are legal because they either hand you a fair chunk of the game and say you'll have to pay for the rest, or are free but nag you for money to unlock more features, but both are always upfront about how you'll have to pay for more, either in the EULA, the game title screen, or will explicitly dummy out certain features if you haven't paid for a registration code, like in the Avernum games.

In all those cases, they make it clear up front you'll have to pay money, but I don't know if it's legal to offer something for free then jump you with a money extortion racket not long after you begin playing without warning.

May be worth looking into whether that's reportable on the Apple Store.

Okay, found it.

Go to http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ then choose "contact support." List the app, the time or date of violation, and if you can find it, what rule it's violating. Under the support menu, there's an "other issues," one of which is "app doesn't work as expected." I think the deal would be that if it's advertised as "free" you don't expect to have your time wasted by it immediately trying to extort money from you.

I'll look into this a bit more.

ETA: Apparently, some apps email a receipt for purchase. There may be a link for reporting the app in that as well.

I'm not sure yet if fake "free" software is in the list.

Well, false advertising could likely apply. Shareware and free "nagware" have to tell you in advance in some way what they are. A full game advertised as free then hitting you up for money is likely not legal.

Free to play but added features costs money is another story, but legal since it's true the actual game is free, and since you are informed ingame you'll have to pay for more features.

Nah, as I recall it says offers in-app purchases. Which prob covers unlocking the game.

Usually, when a game that is "free" has micro-transactions, the App-Store puts a notice below the download button so that the buyer knows that they'll have to pay to get the full game. I just looked up Revolution 60 on the App Store to see if it "offered in-game purchases," and it did. So, while it's still scummy, it's not false advertising because you are given warning that Revolution 60 isn't as free as it seems.

Also, it currently has four out of five ratings on the App Store.

Legality isn't the issue. It's whether it's violating Apple's own rules.
