I keep seeing all this shit flying around about feminism and female representation and sex in the media, and it's either completely abolish all female sexuality or go this classic route. Everything is all about sex, but not about the women themselves, and that just pisses me off to no end.
That's exactly how I feel about modern feminism in general. You can see that same thing happening all over the place. It's used as a way to excuse anything done by women, without ever addressing that certain things are really common and possibly even, dare I say, wrong. There is no accountability.
For example, the typical bitter incel type guy will say "all women are sluts" which is stupid, and obviously wrong, but nobody ever responds "yea, a lot of women like to sleep around because they have sex drives, just like men." Instead they respond "don't judge women."
Another example is that infidelity rates are almost equal between genders, yet most articles written about the subject have interesting ways of excusing women's behavior:
"Women cheat because their men aren't able to satisfy their needs; men cheat because they're dishonest."
lol what's the difference?

Feminists say they don't want women held on a pedestal but then have a spazz fit every time someone suggests that women are just as fucked up as men. It's easy to understand why so many guys get butthurt about feminism when you consider things like that.

I can't imagine how Wu would ever LOVE a game like Bayonetta.
It was mentioned a few pages back that Wuwu might try and jump ship to the GG side. This could be her laying the ground work for her eventual betrayal of the Antis, but more likely it's just her being two-faced and trying to stay relevant.

Kinda funny really, a lot of good non/anti-feminists (as in, not the incel type) I've seen happen to be so for ironically feminist reasons (like, say, insisting that perhaps women not be treated like infants and saints and actually regarded equally to men, even the bad stuff)

You did forget another one though:
- If she says no, then that means no and you should actually respect that (good!)
- If HE says no then DON'T respect that at all because menz are never disinterested in sex and are just trying to control you (bad!)

If she tried to betray the antis, she wouldn't jump ship to pro-GG. She'd start her own side and hilarity would ensue as one of two scenarios would play out:
1. The media crucifies Wu and runs stories about how horrible and sexist she is. Wu has a mental breakdown, everyone laughs.
2. The media sanctifies Wu and runs stories about how horrible and sexist anti-GG is for not supporting Wu, believing it will sell more clicks. Hilarity ensues as Anti-GG completely flips their shit at being slandered in the media.

Exactly. That's why I always try to point out that there are some valid points amongst all the autism. It's stuff that doesn't get addressed anywhere else. I've written several posts about that stuff on here, and your post illustrates exactly why that type of stuff is needed. I don't think it's something women can empathize with, and I don't think they need to, but many men are in desperate need of a realistic perspective regarding gender dynamics. Feminism can't provide that, because feminism sweeps the "negatives" under the rug. You need to understand the positives and the negatives to find balance.

Why Revolution 60 is Offensive in Every Way

Deborah Crocker said:
Wu’s reasoning is that men “want to attack as fast as possible” and subsequently “hammer the iPad so hard that they’ll break the screen.” Apparently, women don’t do this, so Wu decided to make the combat and gameplay as simplistic as possible, even if it makes things horrendously boring and unchallenging. Thanks, Wu. My delicate womanly digits will forever be safe from the tyranny of those dangerous action games.

Also:
“In the future, an American orbital weapons platform has gone adrift over China, causing an international incident. Holiday is a member of Chessboard, a special operations team led by a probability-computing AI. Her team’s mission is to rendezvous with N313 and re-establish satellite control between the station and Chessboard – but not all is as it seems.”

A spacecraft cannot "go adrift". At least not in the way a maritime ship will do when the motor fails. When the rocket motors are not lit, any spaceship will follow the laws of celestial mechanics, which is a branch of theoretical physics that describes the motion of free-falling objects under the influence of gravity - that is stars, planets, asteroids etc. - and has nothing, repeat: NOTHING to do with pastel colored horses. Under many circumestances - e.g. a satellite or space station orbiting earth (a much more massive object!) - these laws can be approximated by the Kepler Laws, which state that the motion will have the shape of an ellipse with earth's center in one focal point. The space station will stay on this elliptical orbit, in theory forever - practically, over longer timespans the orbit will change shape due to small forces acting on it, such as radiation pressure from the sun, gravitational influences from the moon, and, most of all, drag from the extremely diluted gases of the outer layers of earth's atmosphere which causes orbits that come sufficiently close to earth to decay - e.g. the ISS has to get occasional small boosts from rocket motors to keep it from succumbing to atmospheric drag and plummeting to a fiery end. The Soviet/Russian space station MIR was intentionally disposed of in that way. TL;DR: When a spacecraft's engine fails, it does not "go adrift" but stays on its Keplerian orbit theoretically indefinitely, and practically still for a very long time (years).

Now, the Revolution 60 backstory tells us that the space station is "adrift over China". "Over China" seems to mean that it is in geosynchronous orbit so that it's orbital period matches earth's rotation period (24 h) and thus it remains always over the same spot of earth's surface. But geosynchronous orbits are quite far away (36000 km = about 100 times ISS distance) and thus a weapons platform on such an orbit would not pose much danger: in order to lob a warhead at a surface target, said warhead would need about as much rocket power as a spaceship meant to travel up to geosynchronous orbit, and it would take many hours to reach its destination. Also geosynchronous orbits are in the same plane as earth's equator, and so a "weapons platform in geosynchronous orbit over China" is an impossibility from the standpoint of celestial mechanics.

Sure, there is a possible solution: The station could be equipped with a rocket motor of high specific impulse, such as a nuclear-powered ion engine, which can operate continously over long times, and maintains its position actively. That way, remaining over China would be possible, even if the station is much closer than geosynchronous orbit. But in that case it is not "adrift" at all, but, like I said, maintains it's position actively, using rocket thrust.

Has anyone else noticed that all the women in Revolution 60 have the same exact nose as Brianna? It's like this Monty Python sketch, but real:

“In the future, an American orbital weapons platform has gone adrift over China, causing an international incident. Holiday is a member of Chessboard, a special operations team led by a probability-computing AI. Her team’s mission is to rendezvous with N313 and re-establish satellite control between the station and Chessboard – but not all is as it seems.”

I just realized. N313.

Operation N313 was the Outer Heaven mission in the original Metal Gear.

Always a bit pathetic when a company backtracks and apologises just because some Twitter bigshot calls them out.

You thought the tweet was ok in your social media brainstorm session, you thought it was ok when briefing your artist, you thought their work was ok when uploading the JPG to Twitter… so why backtrack, delete it and start begging forgiveness. Not to mention it seemed to fit in with your game universe/humour just fine. Fable was one of the first games ever with a gay marriage option far more progressive than anything Spacekat has release.

Not sure is Wu truly loves Bayonetta as a game, think she just likes the character design because it achieves what her lame Charlie's Angels copy and pastes wished they could.

I'd love to see Wu or Antia tear Neptunia foolishly apart, especially considering the lead character designer is a woman.

You would not believe how many japanese character designers with "problematic"designs are actually women.

Main reason why neither of them touch most japanese games is that they know they can say little in their usual tone without sounding outright xenophobic or racist (there is a funny quote of Anita about the nuclear bombing of Japan out there). Japan has a lot of problems with the western (hell, even the eastern) world in general but regular SJW discourse can be painfully more tactless.

But geosynchronous orbits are quite far away (36000 km = about 100 times ISS distance) and thus a weapons platform on such an orbit would not pose much danger: in order to lob a warhead at a surface target, said warhead would need about as much rocket power as a spaceship meant to travel up to geosynchronous orbit,
I loved your post, but things in GEO are moving at just 3.08 km/s, and it only takes dropping to 1.58 km/s to get the object to hit something on the surface of the Earth.

Bring the :asperchu: ratings, I deserve them.
