You're giving her too much credit. Jack actually turns into a competent teacher by the third game and have marketable(albeit destructive) skills.

Never got out of the conceptual phase. Bug NegaCWC if you want his Wayback Machine links. Then, as is the case now, Wu parasitically tied onto someone else's skills (in this case, one Lauren MiLovy).

I assume it's supposed to just be cool Japanese-sounding words (anata = you, and mata = again, but I don't think it's a meaningful string or can be used for "you again!" or anything like that). Google doesn't give me anything where they're in the same word. It's just some geishabot nonsense.

I'm still upset about eyelashes that aren't lashing out of eyes :(

She probably tried making some bullshit corruption of a name. I wouldn't be too shocked if Election Eve/Rev60 had an even earlier form with similar naming schemes.

It would be strange if she was. The dominant strain of Japanese Buddhism is functionally identical to Mainline Protestantism (look up Pure Land). If so, yet more horseshoe theory or she's another rube who thinks Zen meditation is something non-mendicants do.
