Still, with this haircut, and knowing Wu's attraction to cheap plastic surgery, we should see a knife wound from where he was stabbed in the head, shouldn't we?

Sweetie, I think the burka is in.
Bare scalp is one of the hardest looks for girls, Basically you have to look so girly that man stuff doesn't make you look manly. Like justin beiber actually. Wu is the exact opposite, trying her hardest she looks like a girl from one static angle
While you're at it dye your hair green.

This way people can tell you're a delusional nutbag from a distance.

The only woman that pulled that look off was Sinead O'Connor. And we know what a weirdo she is!

There's a handful of women that can pull it off, but as has been mentioned, they're all extremely feminine in appearance. I knew a guitarist for a punk band that shaved her head like Sinead (leaving just a bit of fuzz) and she pulled it off. She was even pretty cute. But like 99.5% of women/transwomen cannot pull it off.

I didn't bother checking out Brianna's masterpiece but do the games villains have any motivation for doing evil shit other than they're evil?

This is everything that I know about this, based on various sources.

- "Revolution 60" is the name of the plan being carried out by Crimson 09 (arch-evil chinese guy)
- That information - along with what the fuck said plan actually is meant to do besides nuking half the Earth or something - apparently is "explained more than it is in the game" (read: allegedly the only place you actually can learn this, spoilers: the book doesn't say anything about it).
- Minnie is supposed to be some kind of "James Bond type villain" crossed with a gnat and the plot somehow keeps confusing her and Crimson 09 as the actual main antagonist.

The first two things largely are from Wu itself from some livestream of the game where the guy did his best to not say at any point how shitty the game was. Wu was part of the audience, I forget why, but the salt in the staunch defense of the game is a large amount indeed. Keep in mind that the only reason I know what R60 even related to is because Wu outright said it. Not because of anything in the game or the book.

The second thing comes from Wu's aborted newspaper comic/audio drama version of a personal "Sonichu" where Holiday and Minnie are literally no different between the originals and the current versions 20 years later. I forget what that shitfest was called, but Minnie's scant description was literally "James Bond esque villain" and I can only guess the insect thing with her in R60 is a manifestation of some concept of her being a queen bee socialite.

The project was called Election Eve. It had Wu's now-deceased dog in it. It was apparently intended to showcase BriWu's characters behind the backdrop of a school election. The project was so fail-tastic that even Wu-Tan's own college paper wouldn't print it (to contrast, fucking Jay Geis got his comic into a school paper. Fucking Golden Knight failed less than Brianna Wu in this regard). The characters had the same naming methodologies and the same bizarre appearances. Here's a few:

allison.jpg

This is Holiday. Note also the Election Eve logo, stolen from fucking Parasite Eve. The characterization and style are clearly trying to show off sixties kische and camp, but with an autistic version of Sailor Moon. In many ways, Wu comes close to this particular art from Moleman for this one:

SkellenWars.png

For the uninitiated, this is the result of Moleman's OVER 9000 HOURS IN MSPAINT - a work entirely comprised of stolen content, completely unsourced. The ships in this shot are stolen from Wing Commander, the lasers and explosions are from RPGmaker, the background and city are from a PC game's FMV intro sequence, and the moon itself is The World Engine, from Warhammer 40K.

But stolen content and bizarre eye positions aren't the only things on display! Minuette, our transparently evil villainess from Revolution 60 has her origins here:

minuete.jpg

But the funniest piece from this was yet to come:

brea.jpg

Now, first of all, let's take note here. Her name is Brea - which only-so-happens to be Aya, the Protagonist from Parasite Eve's, last name. Her outfit, at a glance, is a fucking dead ringer for Jill Valentine's from Resident Evil 3. However, Jill's outfit showed cleavage, and Brea's doesn't. I want you to take note on this: This image dates back to around the time Parasite Eve 2 came out, which has Aya in a very specific outfit:

tumblr_lcfycwX9KT1qcwtmwo1_500.jpg

Essentially identical to Jill's outfit except she's actually wearing the jacket and it's a top that doesn't show cleavage. Bear in mind Wu already stole the logo and never talks about Parasite Eve, in all the bullshit she spews about heroines in gaming. Methinks this is because she knows she ripped it off. But the far funnier part is actually the name, which noble @NegaCWC was nice enough to point out....

Don't forget the dog (Crash), plus I think I may have discovered another link:

From her character description:

Brea Anatamata --> Brea Ana --> Brianna? What do you think? It this Wu's transona or am I just becoming Alex jones?

Wasn't she on a twitter break? Oh, right, its her friend covering her account for this important info.
As someone else said, you cannot pull that hairstyle or Jack's off without an extremely feminine face. As someone else also said, Brianna Wu is vaguely reminiscent of Mitch McConnell if he still had a chin.

Yeah dude this is the person she hired to manage her twitter even though she barely has enough money to survive and hasn't collected a paycheck in years.
Yep she has to have that twitter to do important PR work for her game and company... because twitter babbling will totally sell games much more than focusing on her oddly neglected youtube presence. Maybe twitter is the best advertising medium to reach neo-gamers?

So much good info

Yeah holiday is like the least female empowering character of all fucking time. I also wonder how she eventually morphed into a kickass assassin. All of these women represent something to bri and are part of her fantasy play. Who do you think holiday is?

Also excellent observation with the brianna character... absent from her current media because she don't need fiction to exist. Brianna has became her. Also really interesting that she is essentially a parasite eve character. Bri gets way into parasite eve and starts various forms of roleplaying, bases her comic and major characters on it. I didn't play it much but it's a really fucking fun game, good plot, and fuck it was super exciting making these crazy expoding-poisoned-sedating-fragmenting machine hand guns. It was good enough that I would think about playing the game when I was doing other things. If I'm doing that I can see someone in briannas shoes, she's probably truely transgender, vicariously being the girl she wishes she was.. and doesn't everyone want to be a fucking super hero.

Even her current attire seems modeled on video game characters, just as you said her college project character seemed to be.

Brianna is railing against men putting female character in video games because they're always inevitably sexist because of (mental gymnastics)/(sexy clothing) ....... the sort of characters that she has actually built her real life persona on.

I DON'T NEED MEN TO EXPLAIN SHIT TO ME! I ALREADY LEARNED ALL THAT WHEN I USED TO BE A DUDE!

I imagine that Twitter/social media would be a good place for independent companies to reach out to potential fans...that is, if that's what Brianna were actually doing as opposed to prattling on incoherently about being the perfect human being.

Because nothing says "I'm an important almost-40-year-old businesswoman with friends in Congress" like shaving half of your head and then getting a tattoo on the side of your skull which is reminiscent to a socipathic criminal.

No seriously, let her do this. Please. Then she can go on national television an demand that she and her video game be taken seriously.
