Improved version, showing from where the money for Brianna's new venture came:

Brianna is claiming that it isn't her handling the account but another person relaying her tweets for her. So yeah, Wu has gone from saying that she pays someone to handle her personal twitter for her to saying only she ever handles it to now saying someone else is handling it for her.

Does she also request "you" to speak in the first person and discuss trivial things like haircuts and TV shows for her online?

There's suspending disbelief and then there's whatever mental issue her followers have that allow them to believe this nonsense.

To be fair many of her followers don't really keep track of most the stuff she says. People that dislike her are more likely to notice shit like this because we're looking for it. Brianna seems to be used to lying to individuals or small groups of people where it's easier to play on emotions and make someone feel bad for even suggesting you're less than 100% honest. So now you have the internet where your lies are most likely recorded somewhere and you're dealing with anonymous strangers that you can't guilt or try to make them into a pariah. Brianna has only made it this far because to the casual observer she's presented as a victim where it'd seem in poor taste to question.

Is Wu lulzy enough for his own section of the forums yet? Or maybe Wu, supporters, and Ghazi, it could be called The Wuniverse with the way he sees himself.

EDIT: My apologies everyone, I thought that would be funny, with the whole pun name scheme, I'll show myself out...

That's called GamerGate if you're going that far.
Yeah I agree, I I feel like that could sort of verge near the Farms "taking a side" in GG , which would just bring shitposting spergs from both sides. But that's just my opinion, man.

The fact that so much of R60's setting, characterization and lore is stuck behind the paywall that is Wu's shitty book should be a sign that her writing isn't as perfect as she claims. That's a horrendous structure to build a world around, because it fucks over the consumer. You should make the game's story work on its own merits, and have the book flesh things out for the fans who are interested and want to learn more. Instead, there are things that do not make any sense without reading the book (and even then its poorly explained tripe ripped off from various pop culture). It doesn't seem like Wu put any thought into the world building or characters a all, and just used them as mouthpieces. Every character is so fucking sassy, too, its just grating.

So we have a broken, poorly conceived world that doesn't make sense in the game, we have obnoxious characters who all have Wu's sense of humor, and we have a story that is cliched and uninteresting. If Wu views this nonsense as 'well-written', she is even nuttier than I had thought.

Kinda reminds me of Microcosm where literally all the story (to a typical fmv rail shooter no less) was in a book. One that came packaged with the game at least.
But yeah, supplementary material should be... supplementary. There should still be soemthing in the first place. Like I dunno, if one of the supporting characters was, say, certainly different looking to the rest and perfectly open to the idea of thievery, kidnapping, extortion and cared little for personal property and the book would explain that where they're from is such a total crapsack and their race can't even leave since the more habitable places are basically full of racists so basically robbing people from those nations and the like was needed in order to get stuff to survive or something...

Thing is, there's gotta be something to build on and you better damn well have beta stuff, concept art and other geeky shit bundled with it.

I got mocked by one of Wu's shitposters over it, but I brought up that Wu's game was one of the rare few that would have benefitted from an in-game glossary or Mass Effect-esque codex, rather than the shitty world doc, which explained absolutely nothing and is fucking paywalled for good measure. Wu herself then chimed in to say that she had wanted to implement such a prospect but didn't due to time constraints. The forum was shut down after Wu's infamous false-flag attempt, so I wasn't able to prod any deeper.

Also, did anyone actually get and/or look into Wu's book? I'm wondering how many pages "these people fight patriarchy grrrl powa" can support.

I forgot to mention that these "BUY MY BOOK" deals probably work a lot better when you've got a series so you can actually get an absolute load of content, kinda like with "Hyrule Historia" that's about 250 pages long and heavy enough to function as a makeshift battering weapon in a pinch.

Other alternative is to have a book based on a game/series but actually have it be a new story kinda like what they did with the Hitman series.

@Smutley shared the world document you have to pay for from Rev60 with us in the other thread, but they've gone missing now for reasons unclear. :heart-empty:

The extra content makes things even more creepy. Like the warriors of chessboard are zealots fighting against the forces of "evil" and they have no patience for politics. Who needs checks and balances, when they are fighting the good fight.

Sorry, very late to the party, but...

...this asian guy IMO looks like a "typical beta". I mean, he comes across as a permanent denizen of the friendzone. Maybe he expects that by supporting Giant Spacekat and making propaganda for them, he'll finally score some hankypanky?

BTW has anyone here played that game, what is it like?
