Here's something I've been wondering about Wu for a while. We have on record that she has propped up Anita FemFreq on multiple instances, but I honestly cannot think of one time that Anita has publically stated anything positive about Wu and her posse.

Sarkeesian has more ability to think in the long term, that is, at establishing a niche as some sort of social critic of videogames, than most of these clowns. While a bit of a charlatan herself, she can recognize that any long term association with Wu is going to end up a disaster. She wants to maintain credibility because she's thinking of next year, while Wu is thinking of her next attention-whoring tweet.

You just aren't going to see Wu on much mass media before she completely discredits herself.

By comparison, Sarkeesian knows to stick to a tame, safe version of the SJW script that isn't going to ruffle too many mainstream feathers. Wow, videogames have chainmail bikini characters! How sexist! Who didn't fucking know that already?

(Of course, disregard that the mass media is sexist as all fuck, such as for instance the fashion industry, pro-ana and downright pedophilic, etc. Make fun of the greasy neckbeards because they're safe targets.)

Wu has posted that her and her team are currently changing things on their game before they release it on Steam. Mainly shit like lighting and the character models. I'm really interested in how Wu will change the character models since it's been established that she has a special attachment to them. It also addresses the Greenlight page being gone. Of note, we were able to garner some fantastic constructive criticism about Revolution 60’s PC version.

Because it's not like everybody else has been pointing out why the game needs to be rebuilt from the ground up in story, character models, actual gameplay, etc.

We have taken this feedback to heart, and are actively working on things like enhanced visual effects/lighting, and body image and costume concerns regarding our main characters.

Wu really must have taken that one other Dev's comments about needing help learning about shading really hard.

Notably, though, there's nothing about making the plot make more sense in the slightest. People know R60's story is shit, Wu would have to be truly insane to think that much isn't clear by now. But, of course, R60 is just Socially Unconcious II: The Next Retardation. Where Holiday HAS to be the main character and Minnie the "bond style baddie" even though fuck if I can recall why she's supposedly bad karma as opposed to Cimson 09 who is literally a one-dimensional bad guy prop.

We will be actively collecting similar constructive feedback as we move into Beta testing of the game, when the time comes, and are grateful to those who have given it thus far. (Keep an eye out for future press releases on these topics!)

You know what really pisses me off about Brianna?

Allegedly, she's terrified for her life and is in constant fear of being attacked. But her behavior is pretty much the exact opposite of what you'd see of someone in that scenario. People who are afraid for their lives don't post pictures of their restraining order on Twitter. People who are afraid for their lives don't broadcast every little detail about themselves online. People who are afraid for their lives don't make jokes and memes about their situation (the courtroom picture with "soon" written on it and now this reptilian bullshit). People who are afraid for their lives don't constantly talk about how they're "getting in touch" with politicians and CEOs. People who are afraid for their lives don't actively bait and encourage people to attack them.

It astounds me that people are taking her whole "I'M LITERALLY GOING TO DIE" thing seriously. Brianna Wu said that she had to flee her home (which is highly questionable, but whatever) and yet she still continues to broadcast information that could put her in danger. She knows she's not in any real danger. If she really did think she was in danger and continued to update Twitter 4,000 times a day, she'd be the stupidest person on the planet.

AFAIK, not in the US. In Sweden, there's a sex under false pretenses law that's separate from but similar to rape law. Not sure if surprise tranny falls under it, as it's meant for lying about multiple partners or STDs. That happens to be their pretense for trying to extradite Julian Assange, btw.
