Not sure if I understand you correctly. I understand that the characters mentioned in her tweet are fictional. The point is that she's comparing apples to oranges - or if you prefer, Donald Ducks to John McCclanes. That makes me question her mental stability.

I'm sure Gamergate shit still gets a decent amount of views. People take shit crazy seriously. Wu's a bit blatant about want publicity from it here but that particular point sounds legit.

I nearly bust a gut laughing when Brianna called on Obama and his fucking administration to take care of Hotwheels in her "I'M LITERALLY RISKING MY LIFE, WORSHIP ME AS A MARTYR" article. It wasn't just the president, she also "called out" the CEOs of Reddit and Twitter. Because all these important people obviously have nothing better to do than to aid some no-name nobody on her quest for internet martyrdom.

I know I'm not supposed to get worked up about this stuff because it's stupid, but I cannot fucking stand Brianna Wu. She's one of my least favorite internet people (and maybe one of my least favorite people period) and any lulz I get from her are quickly canceled out by how much I want to punch her (ZOMG ANOTHER THREAT AGAINST BRIANNA!!!! Oh wait, I'm a woman so she can't milk my comments for pity). I have to keep reminding myself that, despite how she inflates her ego to the point where it's close to exploding, she's nowhere near as famous and influential as she believes she is and most people can't give less of a shit about her.
