So, about this whole Patreon thing. Let's say it's really true that every cent goes to a non-Wu employee. That's what, $1000/month per person or so? If they're working full-time, that's barely minimum wage. I guess this is what "empowering women" looks like? Who knew?
 
Ok, just noticed something amusing. I'm on campus right now, in the computer sciences building, and I've unintentionally positioned myself to overlook the central foyer. Bordering the foyer and in my line of sight is a computer lab currently teaching what looks like computer graphics animation on a Mac OS platform judging from the placement of the application shortcut links on the bottom.

Now, look at this image:

Remove the facial details, the clothing, and the full-body mesh, and this is literally what I am watching be the topic of instruction for the class in that computer lab. The background is the exact same color both in this picture and in the monitors I am looking at, too.

Basically, I'm watching college students learn in about an hour about designing characters on the platform Wu claims took, what, four fucking years to render into the state R60 is now? I think I see a guy in a wheelchair at one of the workstations, too, dead serious.

I have to wonder if Wu has even stepped foot into a modern computer science building on a college campus in the last decade, given what she claims is so damn "advanced" is being covered at the end of week FIVE (out of sixteen) of the Spring 2015 semester before my very eyes.

When did moot forgot that he was the admin of 4chan and not some community manager of a small forum?

I not a chaner but that log paints him as less than self aware of his userbase. Before the whole GG debacle started already where rumors of him getting bullied by the tech industry to control more 4chan, but I thought of him smarter than that.

If you really care, send her the video. Point out that figuring out the person's identity wasn't that hard, given that the "skull mask" doesn't cover the top of his head, and, oh yeah, he said his name.

Then ask her to describe the way he "detailed how he was going to kill BW." Even if she can understand what he is saying, the best she'll get is "I put a death curse on Wu."
 
Has anything come out about what Brianna majored in in college? Did she actually study comp sci or design (not a preq for heading a game company, but it helps) or did she major in english lit / gender studies (again, valid choices, but suboptimal when it comes to running a game company)?

Her first attempt at college was in journalism, but she dropped out and moved to DC to pretend to be a journalist for a couple years on her parents dime. Her second foray into college was either journalism again, or some liberal arts degree. She has no background in any STEM field, and barely any background in arts.

All her hires are most likely 1099 contract employees who don't pull regular paychecks, have no benefits, and don't have taxes withheld since they don't work for her, just with her as needed. They're not even on the payroll now since she doesn't make games.
