Oh she already did. She cameup with a nice, short tweet about how the evil, cis-patriarchy is actively sabotaging all her all her work and that the only reason people don't like her game is due to muhsawjinny.

Maybe Wu, Anita etc are from another planet and they have an alien's non-understanding of games, who plays them and what about them is/should be entertaining. -__-
Also, Wu sucks at character designs because she learned to draw by tracing Sailor Moon. RIP

Let’s be honest, most of this blowback is because Revolution 60 is made by a well-known feminist. A lot of toxic gamers feel like Steam is their turf, and they want to bully us off the playground. It’s predictable, but I can’t pretend it’s not exhausting.
I'm making a kickstarter for my goal of flying to Wu's house and punching her in the face, just as hard as I can. Who's backing me?
 
The only reason I even asked the question is because it seems like a perfect subject for Wu to use as cannon fodder against her detractors. Given her personality I would have expected to see her pull the "I'm not just a woman, I'm a trans woman" card out of her oppression deck. We have a good herd of lolcows who are arrogant assholes who happen to be trans (Rika, ADF, Vade, even OPL tried to get in on it) but they all make being trans a huge part of their identity. They're very vocal about it. Brianna is the exception, but her behavioral pattern suggests she shouldn't be.

It just strikes me as odd.
The difference is Wu gets a lot of support from women, so she doesn't need to play that card. Her trans card gets played when women stop supporting her. She was just featured in a book about positive women in gaming and gets a ton of attention because she's woman. When people start losing interest in her she'll trying winning them back with her trans card. Right now her strategy works, and when it stops working she'll repeat the process with her trans card.

also according to field agents his AMA in reddit was deleted not once but TWICE one for begging for money and the other for begging for votes
 
Well his game is ranking it's way up the charts somehow. I don't know who is up voting it but Rev60 is now in the top 50 games on Greenlight.

Must be a lot of white knights out there. I for one can't wait too see this up for sale on Steam so we can really see how many copies were sold.

Plus 400k budget? That's a fucktonne of money spent for such a craptastic game. You have to wonder how that money was spent; it works out to over 100k per year for development costs.

I'm so fucking tired of her conveniently leaving out the work frank did. She leaves his name off unless its absolutely vital to her point to sell the false idea that its an all women team. Its so dishonest.
 
How many gamedevs have pictures of their restraining orders posted on the company's official twitter? I just can't believe that some people think this is professional conduct.

It just shows where their priorities are. And given that NOBODY seems to be able to locate Jace outside of the internet, I think it's fishy that Jace's name is blurred.
 
100 yards is nothing. The Commander can hit a one inch diameter target at a range of 200 yards with his Deagle provided he is sufficiently blazed to steady his aim. The US Marine SEALs didn't send the man to sniper school for nothing.

Ignoring the budget (Promotion for the game alone apparently added $8 million USD in costs) but not the graphical limitations for reasons I'll get to in a moment, MGS is probably one of the greatest video games of all time both in the game itself and for its legacy as establishing the franchise as a key Playstation title.

Now, the graphics are actually cutting edge, but why? Specs for the original PC version state it only needed 32 MB RAM and a 4MB Video Driver. Let me repeat that: 32 MB RAM and 4 fucking MB video card.

It's now almost 20 years later, where we have calculators that have more computing and graphical power than the original Playstations that MGS was made for. $200 Smartphones have more power than the original Playstation.

And just what does R60's website say to do if the game is lagging on, say, the iPhone 5S, which has a dual core processor and 1 GB RAM and easily handles what wikipedia says was an inspiration to the creation of R60; Infinity Blade, which was released after only a few months of work in 2010, a year prior to R60 even starting development?

That's right, a game developed almost 20 years ago at the dawn of 3D gaming graphics with full voice acting for 20+ individual characters AND the generic troops and the fucking computer and a fuckload of a bunch of other high-capacity visuals...does more with 32 fucking MB RAM and 4MB Graphics including the famous Psycho Mantis sequence where he fucking reads your memory card and changes his commentary based on what he finds there, than R60 can do on exponentially more powerful hardware such that Wu seems to think that what is put into R60 is at all hard to do in under 4 years because of including voice acting for half a dozen characters and basic animation she probably stole from the Unreal SDK wholesale.

Jace was found some time ago; trolls even ordered him a pizza. His address stays off the forums because we respect his wolf soul, but it's out there if you want to look for it.

The game also included an instruction manual and recaps of the original Metal Gear games along with a myriad of fully voiced optional codec conversations that provided background information on the world and characters so you didn't have to buy a separate e book to understand what was happening and why you should care.
