John, just say it: "I'm always right and everyone who disagrees with me is automatically wrong."

When people want guidance on empathy, their first thought is to turn to a rich racist white male sociopath named John Walker Flynt, a man who lives off his husband's six-figure salary.

Let's see John's "empathy" in action:

Hard to believe that's not the Dalai Lama or Mother Teresa tweeting.

Isn't this kind of the whole idea behind the Paragon/Renegade system of Mass Effect? You know, the one in which Wu says her choices are always Renegade (Cruel)?

I honestly believe that Wu really reveals a lot about herself without realizing it, simply by never shutting the hell up and thinking before saying something. There's definitely a broken filter between her brain and twitter finger.

Wu's problem is that she can't keep her story straight. She flipflops a lot and says what she thinks the right thing to say is at that moment.
For example:
I want to impress people and make myself look tough = brag about being full Renegade! The ends justify the means! Sometimes you gotta be cruel to be right!
Now I want people to think that I'm a caring and compassionate person = empathy is really important and its so sad that people can be cruel. Gamergators are evil.

Let's look for some consistency in Wu's ideas.

Wu proposition 1: "Paragon Commander Shepard is selfish and only cares about his her own comfort. Renegade Shepard is altruistic because she is willing to make tough choices because she wants to save as many people as she can."
Wu proposition 2: "The political/cultural paradigm is no longer about right vs. left, it's about empathetic people vs. callous people (implicitly, "people who agree with me [i.e. 'the left'] vs. people who don't share my same beliefs [i.e. 'the right']")

Given that the "Paragon" vs. "Renegade" dichotomy in the Mass Effect series can be summed up by two specific "interrupt" actions that the player can take during gameplay, "hug a girl who just learned that her father is dead and also saw his corpse just now" (for Paragon) and "punch a reporter who has a different political ideology than you do" (Renegade), Wu's two propositions are, therefore, mutually contradictory, if not also false.

On another note, I agree with Wu's "empathetic vs. callous" dichotomy. I mean, after all, the big debate today is between callous cultural authoritarians who want to force people to think the same way they do and ban things they don't like, and the empathetic libertarians who want people to be free to express themselves without shame. A broken clock is right twice a day!

Aka "I attempted to play victim and someone didn't buy it"

Part of what makes me mad about SJWs and shit is they scream that a white guy like me can't understand their problems because of privilege and then claim that these problems are giant piles of microaggressions that all add up to dramatically lower the quality of their human experience.

I don't want to powerlevel too hard but the part that pisses me off is that a good number of people right here in the USA could rattle on about all the times people flat out took a massive shit on them... if they're comfortable even talking about it or they work hard not to think about it without ever having to resort to the times people microaggressed them. In reality most SJWs have lead a life of privilege and are blind to the problems that most normal people have.
Then you can go on about the sort of lives the lower 2/3rds of the human population lead in comparison and it just makes me sick.

I need a really strong drink so I can purge this from my memory.

At first glance, I thought this conversation was about a leaked screenshot showing new character customization option for Revolution 60, with draggable sliders for each body part ranging from "feminist-approved" to "VERY HOT." In fact, I'm going to continue imagining that this is what actually happened.

If that was a dude with neon aviators, fake tan, and affliction hoodie it'd be sexist and weird. If it was a dude with an anime avatar you'd block him from your feed before you have to die of 2nd hand embarrassment again.

Since it's an SJW she's sex positive.

Nope it's about a bidet... honestly there's a joke there somewhere, she just did a weird job of it. I wanted to not like her but most of her twitter is better than that.

There's a part where she bashes her tinder screenshots, I'm sure she wouldn't have liked someone doing the same to her. (they were kinda weird but I think the idea was to get noticed and talk about the goofy pictures)

Of all the pretences of being a big shot she puts up, this one is by far the dumbest:

https://tweetsave.com/spacekatgal/status/684235071952388096

It's an event a week from now. Your company has three people in it, one possibly imaginary. You control all the money. Everyone who has a calendar has it on their computer and synced with their phone, checkable at a glance. How are you pretending you don't know what events you're going to? Fake it 'til you make it doesn't apply if faking it makes you look patently ridiculous.

This is a recurring topic of bullshitting by John, as is almost everything he writes.

Late October 2015: John says he's "totally!" going.

Three days ago: John isn't sure, asks "Natalie" and "Natalie" never replied. Good thing "Natalie" is one of John's many imaginary friends and employees, otherwise it would be odd to make over $2,000 per month and completely blow off inquiries from "her" "boss".
https://tweetsave.com/spacekatgal/status/683463413473873920

There was a small window of time last year when John put his appearances on the calendar of his vanity website, but all the vidya, NyQuil, failed publicity stunts, Twitter meltdowns, and e-begging have obviously consumed all of his waking hours and made this "impossible" to maintain. Might have something to do with not getting invited back to conferences and events after organizers realize the huge mistake they made in inviting Mr. Snarltic.

The fact that all R60 info comes from the personal account, and not the company account, just helps the whole "Natalie is fake" argument. As redundant as it is given that we know Natalie is fake. But I can't see Wu handing over complete control of their personal twitter to manage and filter. And if the last "official" tweet was September, save for a few random conversations.

This also is perfect for continual pushbacks of release dates. If the official company twitter doesn't tweet it, then it didn't happen, right guys?

Next week.

Update on Frank and John's Scam Slushfund (aka Patreon) shenanigans as of late. Some of this has been covered by others a bit.

After John's shameless e-begging before Christmas, Frank and John temporarily reversed their ever-declining sucker count and got it up to to 556 at $2,271.

By evening of New Year's Day, the sucker count had resumed declining, down to 550. The Scam Slushfund total, however, had increased to $2,290.

Then in a span of about a day and a half (by the morning of January 3), the bottom fell out, and Wu and Flynt lost 22 suckers - suckers who finally woke up and removed $122 from the slushfund. It was down to 528 suckers at $2,168.

Currently, for no discernible reason, in less than 2 days the sucker count is up 11 to 539 and the dollar amount is up $27 to $2,195. When a new sucker comes on board, usually their name is at the top the sucker list, but of these 11 "new" suckers, only 1 actually shows up. They're all very small amounts, too, with an average of $2.50 apiece.
