I find this very suspect. Most proper state mental institutions have been closed a very long time and a google search shows that pools are somewhat rare in them. Being in the south state run anything has been on the chopping block for a long time. Also while perverted justice is amusing I've often wondered what kind of people would pretend to be a teenage girl in order to troll what invariably end up being fat mentally challenged dudes. It feels really weird that their number #1 girl for the job had to be a recently transitioned tranny, it's kinda creepy.

Can someone who is close on the subject share what kind of state ran treatment facilities would have pools and "troubled youth" cause i smell distortions and exaggerations.

Other sources have her claiming that working at a psych facility and her lifeguard job were separate gigs, although she has repeated the "lifeguarded at mental hospital" claim in a tweet. There's other poorly sourced info showing possible use of anti-psychotic medicine, so it's possible the "job" claim is a ruse and she could have been a patient, but no way to know, of course. Nothing concrete.

She's definitely lesbian and a former LGBTQ activist, but if she were transgender (of which there are some indicators but no definitive evidence), the change in gender identity would have preceded college, because she identified as female as an 18-year-old freshman.

She's almost definitely friends with Anita and Randi, too, from the evidence I've seen.

Lol I would be very surprised if Adm hopper ever got a single death threat. Also as an officer she wielded a great deal of power.
She could order most guys to stand at parade rest all day if she wanted to and if they didn't listen they could lose rank or get kicked out of the military. As an admiral it didn't matter if you personally hated her guts you would not fuck with her she could tell your commanding officer that because of you she will say bad things about his whole command and make sure his name was mud back in Washington. She wouldn't ruin your career, she could ruin your boss's boss's career and then leave you to live with them. Doing things like this would have been very out of character from what I know of Hopper, but she totally could, she actually had massive amounts of power from the day she commissioned and it only grew until she retired.

I am sure she got cussed out a few times and some guys might have kicked some sexism her way but generally she was respected and anyone who talked shit post COBOL would have been laughed at as a moron out of the loop. But you know it's hard to say for sure, it'd be the kinds shit lost to time and it's not the sort of thing she'd talk about.

One more thing to take into consideration: Has he/she ever clearly stated that by "lifeguard" she meant in the pool sense? More specifically, it sounds like a cute term that those places might use for the low-ranking employees whose job is just to keep an eye on patients with a high risk of hurting themselves (and it's much more friendly-sounding than "security monitor").

She did novice crew in college, so being a lifeguard is totally plausible. Also a large, old facility like Dorothea Dix probably had hydrotherapy and she could have been a lifeguard for that.

Point was to highlight that she's evasive about her past, as is John. But given the public work against creeps that she did for 5-6 years, it's understandable she'd take measures to protect her personal information.

With respect to John getting away with a lot and having extremely fast response times (like when a troll comment in his timeline was removed in 7 minutes and the account suspended in under half an hour, despite not being threatening), it's helpful to understand the politics of the person in control of it all (eg, president of her college's Gay Student Alliance) and how she's related to John via Glenn and loose association with Anita and Randi. Otherwise it doesn't make much sense, since John isn't even among the 100,000 top Twitter accounts.
