Riiiiight, John. Wouldn't want your Twitter feed to become a 24/7 exercise in self-aggrandizement. That's the ticket. It's not like you're massively late on delivering what you promised when you took thousands of dollars from people.

Btw, one doesn't use apostrophes to make a word plural.

It will never happen. Wu is not only disturbing and creepy looking in an extreme way, but is just not a good speaker at all.

Sarkeesian, by comparison, presents a reasonable facade and keeps most of her statements at least facially moderate.

And also doesn't look like a mutant ninja turtle villain.

So Amy Guth, one of the people who was going to represent the Anti-GGers at the SPJ airplay, but chickened out, and whom likewise was part of a massive conflict-of-interest with Miss Wu, and is a personal friend of Brianna Wu is making a documentary about online harassment.

...Does anyone else find it hilarious how the best examples of "protracted harassment" that these people have are:

* A man dying of cancer who was harassed and had his family sent death threats (thanks, Brianna) and has suffered infinitely more abuse than anyone's claimed
* Something Awful
* Brianna Wu herself
* Jace Connors and Tyce Andrews

I need a drink.

I was in a serious car accident at work last week (I walked away with minor injuries), and I very quickly became a bit uncomfortable with the amount of ass-pats I was getting from coworkers in the days following. This experience has made Wu's manufacturing of B.S. threats to her safety all the more alien to me.

It's very telling when people try and engage her like an engineer, yes engineers (and men) love to explain some shit. But if you don't wanna hear it you just let people sperg and then go about business. It's like literally the easiest laziest, cheapest way to learn some shit is to get someone talking about shit they like. Nerds get together and get wasted and just mansplain to each other for hours. It's believe it or not even more fun than sitting in a circle "sharing data" to diagnose the broken wifi.

This is what I hate about people who cry about privilege. When you find out what their deep fucking pains and discrimination are they're usually super weak. Wow that must have been so fucking painful when someone looked at you and didn't automatically recognize your genius, have you healed from the wounds of being told to unplug it and plug it back in?

Then if you say it happens to you too they automatically come back and tell you not to minimize their experiences they have it worse and you just don't know. But actually they don't know the first thing about you, they're just making sexist assumptions that as a man there is no way you have it worse. But maybe you got a lazy eye, bad teeth, maybe you even look like a jock. They really don't know either.

What's even funnier is Wu was probably told that after just jerking out the USB stick and didn't even know that you had to eject them before being told.
