"White feminism doesn't mean white people like me just white people who aren't me"

Also the "Google test devices arrive soon" tweet was classic Wu. It implies that Google sent her something specifically so she can develop for their stuff. What it really means is she went on an ambien fueled Amazon spree and bought an android tablet.

What.

I understand your confusion, friend. At this time, Brianna should be at the GSX Office (which is totally separate from her home) doing important developer stuff for her game that's supposed to come out this month. However, this tweet would suggest that she is at home (a place she has established is different and away from the GSX Office).

Which is it, Wu?

regarding "White Feminism"

Feminists and SJWs have a well-established history of ignoring facts and instead deciding who is correct in a situation based on oppression points. So while it is okay for a cis white straight feminist woman to bitch at cis straight white male scum, it is less okay for cis white straight feminist women to bitch at other cis white straight feminist women.

Considering that cis white straight women are by far the majority population in feminism (and especially in e - feminism), most of their hissfits at each other end in a stalemate. A good way to break that stalemate would be to claim or pretend that your opinion covers other groups with more oppression points as well. An easy way to do that is to bring in race which is how we end up with whiter than chalk feminists complaining about white feminism at other people (including, in some hilarious cases, minorities).

A really funny example was when Lena Dunham was outed by her own book as perving on her 8 year-old sister. Many feminists supported Dunham while some condemned her. The "condemning" side of the argument decided that Dunham received support because she was white and used that as a weapon, like in the following article

http://feminspire.com/white-feminists-fucking-ignoring-lena-dunhams-abuse/2/

In that article there is nothing to support the "white" part of the "white feminists". It's just put there to claim higher moral ground (oppression points) and silence the opposition in this inter-feminist catfight in the same way feminists try to devalue men's opinions (unless they are men who agree with them) by pointing out that they are men and supposedly have less oppression points.

Do I doubt that most of Lena Dunham's feminist supporters were white? No, of course not, that's because the vast majority of (e-) feminists are from the U.S. and Europe and they tend to be privileged in aspects that actually matter (e.g. wealth and social class) so they are more likely to be white. But I haven't seen a single reason to label them as "white feminists" other than the usual feminist oppression game.

In Brianna's case, she hasn't activated the Tranny card yet so she is considered just a white straight cis feminist which is a dime a dozen in feminist circles and doesn't give many oppression points. So she has to look elsewhere.
My brain is having a difficult time processing this... (:_(

@Francis York Morgan, haven't the Wu's been together for around eight years?

Just some free-thinking on the subject so bear with me.

I think they conned each other. Frank probably claimed that he was an extremely influential multi-time Hugo award winning artist. He left out that the awards were for fan art and that his influence is rather niche compared to other people involved in the GG shitfest. But whatever, Brianna bought it because she was looking for someone with enough capital (and influence) to make SocUnc/Election Eve a thing again. Frank may have even been the thing that got her to change it to sci-fi since it's the only genre he has experience with.

As for Brianna, I'm guessing the "software engineer" crap wasn't what sold Frank to her because she only really started hammering on that about two or three months after they inserted themselves into GamerGate and Brianna decided that "video game developer" didn't sound special enough for her. What I bet she told Frank was that she was a wildly successful businesswoman who started her own animation studio and that she had an amazing project idea that was guaranteed to be a hit. As I said above, Brianna was looking for anyone who would help her get her Sonichu going and, considering how the mobile market was at the time, they both figured a video game would be the best/easiest approach. Brianna would be the head manager of the video game studio because of her "experience" and Frank would use his connections in the science fiction community to make sure the game got a strong press push.

Then both of them got exposed. Frank saw Brianna's terrible management drive away their actual development team, drag the project out too long, and sink more money into it than they could ever hope to recuperate. Brianna saw that Frank's influence was extremely niche and wasn't going to produce the strong press her "masterpiece" needed. Also, mobile games were beginning to get a negative reputation as scams. They both needed an out and then GamerGate happened. Brianna saw the attention the other LWs got and thought it could overcome the limitations of Frank's connections. Frank probably saw the money both women were getting from Patreon and believed if Brianna could transition into being a figurehead like Sarkeesian then he could regain some of his lost money over time. I doubt that either had any intention of doing more with Revolution60 once they hopped on the GG train.

That actually makes the most sense, York. Your profiling is top-of-the-field as always.

A friend of mine recently tried to get Revolution 60 to run on a Chinese iPAD knockoff that ran bootleg IOS. I didn't put this in the review since it would have violated NPOV (since we were testing it on this thing just to take the piss), but suffice to say, the game barely worked and had a framerate of about 3/second.

I think Frank had something to do with the initial death threats and the doxxing. Yeah, I know. No shit. However months ago it still felt like risky conclusion to come to without something backing it up.However after seeing Brianna straight up lie about her filing police reports, having an office, having interns, Nichole, and a shitload of other stuff it's pretty clear that Wu has no shame when she wants to be relevant. I used to think that she saw opportunity and milked the hell out of it and then just exaggerated due to her ego but we've reached the point where she's shown she can't even handle small lies without fucking up. This is why she will never be a part of Zoe and Anita's unholy union. When they lie they tend to do it from knowingly misrepresenting something or at least lie in small ways where even if they're caught it's easy for supporters and casual on-lookers to dismiss it. They are people who are socially and self aware enough that even when they're laughably ineffective (the UN thing) it will still look good for them on paper.

It's reaching the point where the theories of her and Frank using socks to keep their patreon up seems less far-fetched. I'm not saying there's any actual evidence but we're dealing with people who you can't believe a fucking word they say. If I was freezing in a blizzard and they told me it was snowing I'd still look up to check.

So, out of curiosity I searched Mass division of corporations and can't find anything by business name or by last name. Has anyone discussed this? Sorry for being late if this is old news.

Kiwis saying that her office and employees are BS made me want to look if she at least has a verifiable corporate record.

The problem I have with that theory is that they were married for years before starting the Rev60 grifting. They'd have to have noticed that their respective spouses were Potemkin humans long ago.

Lying about this again, John? There is no "games keynote". Are you "SO PROUD" to be repeating an absurd falsehood?

Each of the three days has one keynote speaker. They are all highly-accomplished, actual women. You are not doing a keynote, you are a nobody, and you're a dude.

You're doing a "presentation/lightning talk" on the second day. There are 650 other people giving talks during the conference.

Once again, you take a very insignificant thing and try to make it look huge. This is why your reputation is garbage. No one is "going to leave inspired". They're going to leave horrified, angry, and feeling cheated - as they always do.

This is covered in the wiki.

You would know all about irrational brand loyalty though, wouldn't you John? In any case, this is yet another thing that OPL already did and was much funnier at.
