I am confused about Wu's speaking/travel timelines. Tried to get clairity on her website. Each time I go to her speaking page it crashes on my iPad.

Kind of sucks that the "Godzilla of tech feminists" doesn't have any friends, family, or professional contacts that he could have stayed with for a few days to avoid having to do two coast-to-coast trips in a short time. Might have even avoided being literally raped dozens of times by TSA officers. But I guess he's too busy working on his game to waste his time on things like conferences or networking.
 
Current trip.. I am curious that she traveled yesterday, but isn't appearing until tomorrow in the late afternoon. That is an extra hotel night. Possible she is meeting with industry people pre-meeting, but her Twitter kinda destroys that theory.

**I would never travel that far to speak for 20 min amid a sea of other much more important speakers. What a waste of time. Someone could take a bathroom, cigarette, phone call break and miss it.

Brianna would travel a thousand miles just to hear herself talk, no matter how long it is. She's banking hard on trying to become a paid speaker since game development ended up being harder than she anticipated.

These kind of meetings typically don't pay. Speakers don't have to pay to attend the conference, but that's about it. Lots of industries who hold large meetings fill speaker slots with this method. That's why I don't go to them. I've seen some crap speakers. Waste of time and money.

As what John doesn't seem to realize is that by falling into that trap, he's essentially hellbanning himself from having mainstream influence. Sure, some fringe retards might take him seriously, but it's like the audience of a three in the morning infomercial: the only people who will care are those who can't find anything else to put them to sleep.
 
It's worth it if you're the sort of person who can't get the time of day from any organisation that has any iota of self-respect.
 
My internet has been kinda fluky for awhile, so I may not be around as much for the next few days.

In that case, if you guys post ANY tweets, archive.is/Tweetsave them IMMEDIATELY. Wu will delete even the most innocent stuff for the most paranoid reasons, sometimes moments after posting it.

I find it amusing that big, tough "Godzilla" and his husband are homophobic and in the closet - as if anyone in 2015 cares that they're gay.
