Maybe she stopped the hormones or drastically lowered the dose after the surgery.

That would be in line with Wu's way of thinking. Surgery = I'm a full blown woman now and I don't need no hormone pills.

She's so entitled she probably thinks that biology itself bends to her opinion.

Just remember not to leave her out in the snow again.

I don't think Wu knows what posts like this say.

When I hear someone who only posts about their pets' behavioral problems, what I hear is "I'm a super shitty pet owner."

Because pets don't act like that unless the owner is a fuckup.

I won't lie, the inner sperg in me raged that Wu would discard the greatness of the Legends series and the fact that Tron Bonne has been on the PSN for a while.
Ladies and Gentlemen, the discount SSV Normandy!

It took Wu eight minutes to get from "work" to her home and have a conversation with Frank then tweet about it.

It has been many years since I saw Sailor Moon on VKLL fansubbed VHS, but weren't the witches constantly backstabbing each other for status? And wasn't Mistress 9 a domestically abused and brainwashed nine year old girl forcibly transformed into a very sexualized body by her evil dad?

But they were all pretty, long-legged things, so Wu cares not for problematic.

Mimete was the closest to achieving the goal in that season of the anime iirc, but... Y'know. Wu is only glomping on to the witches since they were techy, wore lab coats, had leggy costumes and were catty. Negatives that Wu views as typical female empowerment.

You'd think that she'd latch on to Fish Eye or the Sailor Starlights. *yawn*

Hey, so that's why the main characters of R60 constantly act like bitches towards each other!

I'm just realizing, these talks by Wu, though excruciating to sit through, are quite the source of raw, unmilked lols:

1. "My background is as an entrepreneur. " *Discusses father's business background*

(Entrepreneur - a person who organizes and operates a business or businesses, taking on greater than normal financial risks in order to do so.)

2. "My first start-up is when I was only 19 years old, I was given a quarter of a million dollars to do an animation start-up."

*Neglects to mention the reality that there was no business, no company, no establishment of anything nor any revenue whatsoever, only very patient, very rich parents and a fucking money-sink with delusions of grandeur named Johnny W. Flynt*

(Start-up - a newly established business.)

Do you realize, Kiwis, that in the version of reality that exists in Wu's head, the multiple failures of Socially Unconsicious, Election Eve, etc. are proof of Wu's entrepreneurial skills and business acumen? He mentions this sordid history at these talks as laurels, feathers in his cap.

He literally uses failure as proof of his success.

This is why no light of reality will ever penetrate the abyss of Wu-time: Boy is girl, good is bad, lose is win.

Let's try one last quote, a bit of hearsay attributed to author unknown, from the past...

3. "My fellow Poli-Sci students call me Crazy J," said the wild-eyed, effeminate sociopath, whom nobody called any such thing. "I was stabbed in the head and lost all my memory after working as a political operative for Trent Lott & George Bush. I've since realized all Republicans are evil, and I'm building a media empire through crudely-drawn college newspaper comic strips and unrealized screenplays. Yeah, I'm what you'd call an entrepreneur..."

This delusion isn't unique to Wu though; it's the founding dogma of Silicon Valley startup douche-bro culture.
The only difference between John Flynt and the startup flavor of the week is that he got his money from his parents rather than a venture capitalist playing the long odds.

The only difference? I dunno, Wu never was a "startup flavor of the week" anywhere but in his own mind ; these failed ventures existed writ large in his delusional recasting of his past only. How could anyone gambling with their own money, or investors' money, last for any length of time if every "product" they financed with said funds was so roundly rejected, burning all their social bridges in a wave of "sandnigger!" infamy all the while?

Perhaps you mean that the spirit of deny and obfuscate exists to cast businesses in the best possible light, even if that light is wholly one of deception, but...

Even in that regard, Wu is in a class by himself.

You can't create a product that: A) mocks your audience's intelligence, B) makes sense to only you, and C) appeals to no one but yourself, and then proudly trumpet your failures as if your example is somehow instructive to college kids in any way at all. Truly a rara avis in terris, Brianna Wu is only qualified to talk about Brianna Wu, which suits xir fine because that's all xe ever wants to talk about anyway, so unless college kids want to become little Literally Flynts themselves, these lectures are useless.

But, as high comedy they remain unique gold.

I was skimming through that Google talk video and this popped out at me:

Like, she actually stared at the camera with this expression for a few seconds.

I don't know why but it made me laugh.
