They have close ties with Christianity but they've became much more progressive towards lgbts lately. I think it's funny that if wu had joined and built some bridges in the woods s/he might have not grown up to be a raging shithead.
 
Eh... If she is like this as an adult, I'd hate to see how she was as a child. I wouldn't be surprised if she was in the boy scouts or a similar group and got kicked out like CWC. She definitely isn't social unless it's a ploy to manipulate someone. (ie. Her repeated attempts of asking people out for "coffee")

I think military school would have been even more beneficial.

Something tells me that Wu's upbringing involved a discernible lack of being denied anything they wanted thanks to poor parenting and stupidly wealthy family funding. And or little-to-no actual social interaction during that period. Outside of knowing the whole "adopted, cis-born woman" bullshit is a fabricated lie and that Wu was born John Walker Flynt: male to rich parents, we have no information about the early years up to the point of him trying to push his shitty comic into the Ole Miss newspaper twice and his fellow peers confirming he was already pretty much a crazy piece of shit before deciding he was actually a woman to begin with. In comparison, we have a scarily accurate reconstruction of OPL's entire fucking life since the day he was born and can figure he's turned out to be the leech on society that he is because of his parents not remotely being competent or really even perceptive of what raising an autistic child required - to say nothing of denying him the special education he should have gotten since being put into the public education system in the first place for no reason other than petty bullshit about Borb beliving the public schools were actively persecuting their "special" child. It's not out of the question that Wu's upbringing might have been nigh-identical in that respect and John Walker Flynt was just as special a child as Chris from day one, with parents just as bad for the job.

... And now they're getting triggered because we call the new Ghostbusters the "Lady Ghostbusters" because that's the easiest way to distinguish them from the first iteration?

Also, they are the Lady Ghostbusters, because we don't even know if the film is any good yet, and the original Ghostbusters of Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson will likely never be beaten

Not gonna lie, after seeing the tweet where Wu "claimed" that guy's yard i giggled becuase imagined Wu with her own little version of Caesar's legion and it just felt really appropriate.
