Yes, Codeine kills pain nicely. It damn well better, because it's an opiate with serious risk of dependence. If you think heroin junkies are shitheads, you need to realize that the pill chasers have literally the same addiction. It's an opioid problem, and it will kill the living shit out of you if you abuse it, same as street drugs.
Given (by his own admission) his history of substance abuse problems, maybe John boy might want to brag a little less about conning his way into being prescribed narcotics.

Because popular depiction of pill abusers is typically kinder. Usually they're shown as either ignorant kids not meaning any harm or adults with a "minor" problem. Other types of junkies, like herion abusers, are usually depicted as strung out wastes of skin.

Whenever she tweets out stuff like this, I like to remind myself that she actively encouraged Kickstarter backers and Patreon supporters to follow her on Twitter. You know, so they can see what their money has done.

This is wrong. Perhaps it used to be the case, but the notoriety of opiate pill addiction leading to heroin, methadone, etc. has become so widespread....Have you seen those: "You wouldnt give your kid heroin for a broken arm, would you?" posters?

The connection is much more understood, making prescription harder to obtain, unless the doctor is a writing like a fiend, which is increasingly uncommon.

Everyone on the thread is acting as if Wu can abuse her guaifenesin ac for a bitchin' high....Have you guys actually tried to do that? This isnt hycodan, or something where the opiate is the active ingredient. guaifenesin makes you nauseous as all hell if you take too much....There's just a bit of codeine for the throat. Less than vicodin, seriously, unless you chug the whole bottle, in which case.....pray for death. I hope Wu sees the "AC", assumes this syrup is some Drugstore Cowboy good shit, and gets sick as a dog.

And yes, posting tweets about how much you will party when you get a script weaker than Tylenol 3 means you still have a drug addict brain, John.

The depiction of the harmless pill popping junkie is still prevalent. And no, I haven't really noticed any posters about giving kids herion for broken arms.

Given John's history of drug abuse, his lack of common sense, and his attention whoring, it's not that unrealistic to guess that he'll abuse his prescriptions. Regardless of the high, or lack of, he might get.

If you look up that ghastly pre-transition picture, which I'm too lazy to find at the moment, she used to be fairly ghoulish and skeletal, and had no need for her trademark gut belt. I think back then she actually did run as much as she claims to now. I suspect she just gradually let herself go from there.

Afaik, they just don't bother to determine what exact kind of source the pneumonia has. An acquaintance of mine suffered from pneumonia, too, and the cause was "unidentified", which gave us a good scare, but it turns out (as I said) most often, it's just not worth examining after they confirm it's pneumonia.
