OK, so.... "lighting matters". Sensible enough, let's take a look at what we've got.
So... a green light from above that shines only on the outside of the chair (and the part of the ground that would ordinarily be in the shadow of the chair-loop)
A pink light from... somewhere... that shines only on the inside of the chair, and not the front of the loop.
The inner seat of the chair painted blue... and for no reason a little blue light shining out from under the pink seat.
Alternatively, there's just a white light overhead, the entire chair is painted green-and-pink, and there's paint spilled on the floor.
Guys, I'm starting to think Wu might be a moron.

I'm sure John the Godzilla of Tech Deranged Trannies knew that and made a specific choice to use Paint instead.
After all, the greatest genius of all time wouldn't be ignorant of total basics like that, right?

Kids back then didn't parents who were able to wake up at 7 in the fucking morning to buy you unnecessarily expensive vidya.
We sure as fuck didn't have parents able to buy more than 1, or even 2 at a time.
Did you forget Blockbuster existed as well or how EB opened in the fucking 70's, John?
Did you also forget how kids rented games and borrowed from friends (and never gave them back on occasion)?
John, you were never a 90's kid, nor 90's gamer.

I know him, he was pretty big in KiA until someone caught him self flagging himself , then he was excomulgated from there and now he drinks the Kool Aid, i have see him talking with Wu several times on twitter

It's clearly because that poor Bootcamped MBP can't handle running anything other than the dev kit, because of just how much of a monstrosity that johnny boy has created.

The new version is so fucking overdesigned. I can't imagine it running very well on ANY system with the sheer overabundance of lighting effects.

I might not be running a pair of titans in my rig, but IF, and that's a BIG FUCKING IF the game ever comes out, I plan on getting it just to see how poorly it runs on a high-end system. Returning it of course, because fuck giving them any money for this monstrosity.

Guys, that's not MS Paint. It's Unreal Development Kit (64 bit, DX9). You can tell on the original.

So Wu's finally mentioned VR again... to mock people who were expecting delivery of the $600 product that they paid for several months ago in April and now in some cases are being told they won't see it until August. The same people who are watching others currently purchasing the exact same product from some big-box retailers and getting them in a matter of days. Those people are getting pretty royally screwed...
Classy Wu. I imagine it's pretty easy to not care about the problems Oculus is having with their launch, since your "third fastest in the world" Mac will never be able to run one.
Not that I would know how that feels... I just spent the last 4 hours using my new Vive on my 7 year old PC. I'll be sure to check out Rev60VR when it's released!
