That's what people said about the existence of "John Flynt", but the truth is, no one outside of this forum bothers looking up the easily-verified truth about a minor personality like Wu. She could totally bury Rev60.
John does his best to scrub the info about his past life, while he's gone out of his way to attach his name to Rev.60.

His ego won't let him bury it either. Those characters are him, to ignore them would eat away at him.

GamerGate is simultaneously a bunch of BernieBros and also alt right cucks, got it.

Where's the game, Frank?

Edit to answer @varvarstvo:
Do you think Wu got the "Giant Space [animal]" from Brianna, or was it another thing she plagiarised?

Rev60 is basically the unholy offspring of Frank and John's respective Sonichus - Guidolon and Socially Unconscious. The idea of a giant space animal came from Frank, not John. John also gets his "Godzilla of Feminism" foolishness from Frank.

John has been using the "spacekat" thing for a long time. He said Brea Anatamata's "profession" was a "Funky SpaceKat Princess". He gets it from Space Channel 5 - hence the name for John's blog, Space Channel 6.

Frank and John met on October 26, 2007, more than two and a half years after the following interview excerpt.

February 2005
Daikaiju! story: "The Tragical History of Guidolon, the Giant Space Chicken"

What is your favourite giant monster film? Why that one?
Hands down, the first Godzilla (Gojira) movie. Destroying Tokyo isn't just fun and games. The morning after Godzilla's first attack, we see the wounded and dying overflowing from the hospital, and rows of tidy Japanese schoolgirls stoically singing, pleading for salvation in the face of an unbelievably powerful force. We know that they are doomed, that their song is futile, and it is heartbreaking.

Can you tell us how you came to write your story for the DAIKAIJU! anthology? What thoughts lay behind it?
This was the story I was born to write. It took me a lifetime. A lifetime of movie watching! I've always thought that monsters were only looking for love -- Frankenstein's monster wants a bride, Dracula is looking for someone to stride through the ages with him. This theme is in my Guidolon story, in addition to every scientific error and bad sci-fi movie cliche I could think of. There are also half a dozen references to Apocalypse Now and United States President Jimmy Carter being attacked by a killer rabbit. My thought while writing this was: What if The Simpsons did a monster movie? This is what I came up with.

Frank in turn got the idea for a giant space chicken from Frank R. Paul.

What a freakin' idiot. Experienced D.C. operative Flynt/Wu explains politics using pictures of cats. That's what Democracy in America would have looked like if Alexis de Tocqueville had any idea what the hell he was doing.

He stole it from Dungeons and Dragons.

EDIT: he likely heard about it through the popular character Boo in Baldur's Gate, but I highly doubt he has actually played any video games, so that is up in the air.

Not for nothing, but suggesting that Wu has the kind of geek cred to even recognize the name "Spelljammer" is perhaps reaching a bit, no?
I get it, he's a shitfucker, but he's not Trany Geek Unicron. He's a breathtakingly incompetant, opportunistic shill with a barely passable knowledge of a few geek tropes.
My guess is that "GIANT SPACEKAT" is the kind of lol-so-random-penguin-of-doom humor that people like Wu mistake for wit, so he used it in an attempt to be quirky.

Yeah, the correlation to Spelljammer would be tantamount to some kind of Dragon Magazine reference, which is probably far too sophisticated. It all seems like a case of over thinking. If Wu played tabletop RPGs back in the day, he probably only played D&D (not AD&D, or any remarkable supplement) and a few other minor TSR properties. One can be sure, he never played any of the FASA games like Battletech. If he maybe was willing to ham it up, and come up with some [Steve Jackson Games] Car Wars / Uncle Albert's / GURPS quips or maybe one Space Hulk/Warhammer 40K grasp I could buy it but... This is Wu. Also, just got home from a really badass Whiskety tasting, so forgive my sperging.

"Professional journalist" John Flynt knows all about checking his sources.

yeah, John, it's completely impossible that gamergate could be a bunch of autists who have been branded terrorists by the very same hipster douchebags they have autistic beef with. they must actually be a harassment campaign, with over 9000 penises raping women out of their homes.

There was a time when Wu's entire ego depended on being a "GameDev". She has since moved on to trying to position herself as a leading "female in tech" and kind of left any game development behind, unless trying to claim some type of legitimacy in the field. Actually makes a kind of sense for her, as programming games takes some skill while posting random comments intended to draw "harassment" is pretty easy.

I wonder what the odds are that Wu has accepted the fact that upon a Steam release, her beloved Rev60 is going to be ripped to shreds no matter how many disco lights she added. Maybe this "ableist language" tweet is a setup so she can come back and say something to the effect of "After reflection, I can't in good conscience release a game that contributes to the erasure of differently-abled people. Please donate to my Patreon or my new Kickstarter so I can make a new game that is totally inclusive"

Not out of the realm of possibility, but unlikely. This is his Sonichu 2.0, he WANTS to force the world to love it in some fashion, and let's face it, if R60 flops worse than SOCCON, he's utterly fucked on having his Sonichu being beloved ever again, and even someone as narcissistic as Flynt has to know that.

All Wu is doing is just virtue signaling ahead of time to blunt SJW criticism if he ever shovels his shit on Steam, much like an ass backwards version of what Beamdog did to negate their critics.

I don't think Wu's going to make another game. The whole thing was originally an attempt to cash in on the mobile phone fad, rather than some burning desire on her part to make games. And it's quite obviously an albatross around her neck at this point. Whatever she does next, it'll be something that doesn't involve producing and selling products.

John would be shooting himself in the foot by releasing the game, honestly. We know it will be a buggy, unplayable mess, we know that everyone will destroy it in reviews, and we know that will not make back a fraction of the money put into it. And once it's out there, John has nothing left to fiddle with to pretend that he's a programmer/software engineer (except maybe that goddamn Cupkek Crisis which will never go beyond that one nauseating minigame). The smarter choice would be for him to hold onto it forever - which means that we get to make fun of him until he turns to tranny ash.
