Lol, Wu referencing The Room, a movie widely ridiculed and regarded as one of the worst ever made..... Wu is the Tommy Wiseau of gamedev.

Funny. I was actually going to draw a comparison between R60 and The Room a couple of weeks ago when some of the game play videos were posted. The writing, dialog and interactions between characters in R60 caused me to cringe to a level that instantly reminded me of when I saw The Room for the first time. It's always so painfully clear when dialog is written by people who are so unpracticed and horrible at day-to-day interactions with actual people on a daily basis.

I would really love to see Wu, Wiseau, and Davis Aurini team up to write a screenplay. That would really be something.

Wait. Did she just spoil the whole game? Everything from Unknown dying to Holiday getting hurt to failing the mission and Crimson 09 showing up are all in there. Wtf kind of trailer is this, it's just one long spoiler.

Also it's rife with spelling and grammatical errors but what should we expect from John "Mathmatics" Flynt.

LOL: "It's a full on action movie"? Isn't that what the script is supposed to be establishing?

Brianna Wu's TITANIC
PRESIDENT TAFT: Rose, we're calling you back into action. You've ridden boats like this before.

JUMP CUT to the most romantic scenes in TITANIC: Rose and Jack on the bow, Jack painting her portrait, etc. It's a full-on romance movie.

ROSE: You don't understand, Mr. President. A boat like that... changes you forever.

JUMP CUT to Jack sinking under the waves as Rose clings to the wreckage.

PRESIDENT TAFT: That's exogenous, Rose. Complete the mission.

The TITANIC logo displays onscreen, and a sweet ass motorcycle drives in front of it leaving a trail of fire.

Brianna Wu's TITANIC: Coming very soon!

I wonder if one week or twenty are set aside for the storyboards, animatics, theatrical tours integrated into speaking engagements and ADR, all leading to the realization that the soundtrack should be remastered into 8.2 Dolby Surround to make the game a true SpEd.

A few hundred if Wu is lucky. Remember that the Kickstarter backers get a free copy of the game. PC gamers are a little more selective than mobile gamers as well. Only chance this has of selling in the thousands is if it gets bundled with a bunch of other indie games for a couple bucks.
It's gonna be hilarious when John flounders to give his kickstarter backers their rewards, like the free copy of the game they were promised.
I don't think you should show the fucking script before releasing the trailer, because, ya know, you just SPOILED the ENTIRE fucking game!

"I'm trying to code" You don't need to code for a fucking trailer, John. Isn't the game "finished"?
Also, DAYUMMNNNN John got his shit pushed in.
That gives John less than 2 weeks. Yay, more deadlines to fail.

"We're thinking the week after Overwatch."

We're planning to release when we hope everyone will be super distracted and not remember about this deadline

Why the fuck does a trailer even need a script? It's just the best parts of the game/movie spliced together to get people interested.

I think we should forward that script to any organization she tries to interact with. There's no way you can take that shitfest seriously.
