:story:

Why would you vote on such an important decision as a joke?

WHY?

Because they wanted edgy bragging rights apparently

@Ass Manager 3000 - COWARDS. Cowards the whole lot of them. They have no idea of why this needed to happen. None whatsoever - just more people who would rather be slaves to the EU and its 4th Reich behaviors. FUCK. THEM. ALL.

Sorry - I just can't have respect or patience for such idiocy from people like this who fail to educate themselves, like these people have royally.

Mandy Suthi, a student who voted to leave, told ITV News that she would tick the Remain box if she had a second chance.

"I would go back to the polling station and vote to stay, simply because this morning the reality is kicking in," she said.
Ms Suthi, who said her parents and sisters also regretted their decision to vote to leave the EU, said she was "very disappointed" with the result.

"I wish we had the opportunity to vote again," she added.

Too late lol:story:

lol calm down.

Yeah I'm sure the number of people who voted as a joke are statistically significant, and the media focus on them is not at all about reinforcing the narrative that the Leave campaign was composed entirely of retards and racists, for the superior Remainers to scoff and contemptuously sneer at.

So how goes it in the UK?

They're just like those people who, at the height of a riot, run out and help flip over a police car.... then when they find out their picture got in the paper and now they're facing charges and their employer is about to fire them for bad PR, realize that, in hindsight, that was one of those "has consequences" things.....

Funny, I call those kinds of people "fucking idiots".

Well, yeah, but somehow it's different when you apply the same logic to a vote? According to THESE winners it is.....

And, how many people do you think wanted to leave, but voted "stay" because they felt "Well, it doesn't matter what I say..... nothing I ever vote for happens"?

So it all evens out in the end.

This is the same kind of sour grapes that follow every election where anecdotal stories of senile old folk checking the wrong box on a ballot are used to try and discredit the result.... because obviously 18 million people did JUST that.

The remainers are having a really hard time accepting their perspective may not be that of the majority. The whole "old racists" angle is just a way for millenials to point their fingers at someone to blame, one of their favorite pasttimes, completely ignoring that the largest proportion of abstainers were the youngest age bracket, as in every single fucking vote ever, anywhere. It also consoles them that they are on the "right side of history", and that once these burdensome old flea bags finally die out their evidently superior and correct views will be the norm.

The biggest chimpouts were the middle class university students realising that they're not as in touch with the 'common man' as they thought. Their classism is hilarious.
There is no such thing as "classism" in gender studies.

View attachment 107935Lol these idiots are actually trying to petition to have another referendum. Do these slacktivists know how to do anything besides bitch when they don't get their way? Also I find it highly unlikely that either side would get above 60%. It will always be a close call.
iNe8GoC

It is like the butterfly ballot all over again, except this time there is no technicality to blame on, only millennial entitlement.

I'm pretty sure Leigh Alexander herself would rather pick up a fucking cock.

It's less them realizing they aren't in touch with the "common man" and more realizing they can't dominate the "common man"

Oh boy, Tumblr is on fire with this stuff!

I'm sure this has probably been said already, but there's certainly some irony in seeing the younger age groups claiming the older age groups are racist bigots, while simultaneously running around spouting bigoted nonsense about a democratic referendum that won by majority being undemocratic, and that no one above 50 should vote.

"I want to leave the UK and go to Canada uwu"
"fuck all the old men they just fucked our country over we're all going to hell haha"

I just want everyone to stop with the scaremongering. It's over. What's done is done.

Also, apparently you're an Old Xenophobic Racist Homophobe™ if you voted out in the eyes of Tumblr. I guess suddenly I aged by over 40 years, then. (I'm a 19-year old student.)

Yes, that is another little statistical trick they will no doubt employ. Since around 3/4's of the youngest age bracket that did vote voted Remain, this clearly means that this proportion is replicated throughout the entire bracket, abstainers included. There's no way of knowing which way the abstainers would've voted or their reasons (or lack thereof) for abstaining in the first place. The narrative will, for the moment, do it's best to pretend people like you don't exist and are statistically insignificant, the same way they've completely erased the older voters on the Remain side.

It's apparently impossible that any of those old folks actually thought this was right for THEIR children, perhaps? Or even GRANDchildren? There's other reasons influencing the votes of people who are "gonna be dead" when the effects kick in....

The entitlement/selfishness of the average millennial, ladies and gents, can't think of any reason someone would do something unless it directly affects THEM.
