Whether puberty blockers ‘help’ right now is not measured by whether the person who took them before hopping on cross-sex hormones passes ‘well’. It is measured by how satisfied or dysphoric the person who took them feels later in life. It is subjective, but so is passing.

It's not really subjective, when objectively 90% or more of them report horrible medical issues or dissatisfaction with their bodies afterwards. You're just fucking up kids because their munchie parents (or their greedy doctors) want them on expensive medication for a fake condition.

They are not 'safe,' 'reversible,' or 'helpful' by any conceivable definition of any of those three metrics.

‘Dissatisfaction’ is subjective. The percentage of patients reporting dissatisfaction is not subjective. That is what I was talking about. I also said nothing about how reversible or medically safe they are, so I doubt we are in disagreement.

Well the thing is that feminists here constantly mock western femenists because they see them as shills for the capitalist establishment and also weak because they have bended themselves over backwards just to please the men in dresses/transgenders, they also mock the term 'terf' because being trans-exculsionary isn't radical, it's the mainstream.

I'm assuming you are from Argentina because that country truly is cursed, in my country most people don't really care about politics and the parties unless there is a big thing happening, like the pandemic or the new law regarding self defense that the governnent has proposed, although that one is supported by most people with the exception of a few opposition politicians who in turned called the PIT-CNT, their hardcore militants to call for a referendum, the PIT-CNT is supposedly an organization in charge of representing all the syndicates of the country (they "represent" hundreds of thousands) but in reality they are giant shills for the opposition party.
Something funny that I've noticed is that when it comes discussing politics and football on the internet, my countrymen either turn into violent apes or greek philosophers, in politics they'll scream and throw shit at the other guy, in football they'll write gigantic paragraphs filled with reasons as to why Peñarol is better than Nacional or viceversa, this gets funnier because when those discussions happen in real life the opposite happens with the politics people having a calm debate while the football hooligans beat, stab and shoot eachother, fuck, now everytime there is a match between Peñarol and Nacional riot police have to be deployed just in case.

I never gave it a try but a few of my cousins have and they say it's good, I imagine they're telling the truth because after midnight all the parks become flooded with dudes smoking weed, there are so many of them that you'll probably get high by just walking near them.
