they're white males who have dedicated their lives to advancing an ideology that basically boils down to shitting on white males at every opportunity. of course they're miserable all day every day, they are basically required to hate themselves all the time, and the only time they are allowed to feel good about themselves is when they're shitting on another white male, which explains why their community is so prone to in-fighting.

I think @Garm summed it up best.
It's no secret that these people are overwhelmingly depressed. They lack direction and motivation trought life and their way of coping is reflecting on the world at large. Y'know, I don't like to analyze people, I think is dumb and is something I like to call out people for specially when you are doing it in the realm of politics and humanities but I feel like I'm speaking from experience here.
Part of the problem is that they've been stripped of all their self-evident natural identities. Nation, race, and religion are all forbidden.
The only "identity" that's reserved for them is the one they make for themselves. Or, none at all. Which, given the right circumstances, can work, but this should come with self-awareness (a lot of it) and knowing where lines are drawn. Otherwise, they come off as just having issues or already having surrendered to said issues.
The Brave, New World of Socialism will give them a name. For the time being they are Nobody from Nowhere unless they can prove otherwise.

I think that Styx's video really put them in perspective best. Breadtube isn't organic and their videos aren't made out of passion or enjoyment. They a completely manufactured group specifically designed to try and copy the popularity of right wing youtube at its peak, and lack any of the buildup that allowed for that peak. Right wing youtubers networked often, and not only among themselves. Jontron is probably the most famous example of this, and breadtube still hasn't gotten over it with how often some of them like to bring him up. Breadtube, like most ultra progressives, have such a strong disdain for anyone on the right that they never network outside of their own bubble. The only case I can even think of where breadtube networked outside of themselves would be Quinton Reviews, who then promptly became another member of the club and torched his career by mimicking all of the behaviors that make them so insufferable. Breadtube doesn't enjoy what they do because they're a group built entirely upon the concept of trying to copy their opponents while completely and utterly failing to understand why they lost so miserably in the first place
Akshually Quinton is just an orbiter/groupie to Breadtube. He would be more akin to No Bullshit like Mothers Basement and Fact Fiend.
